Honiton Golf Club

We played this course on 26/08/23.The course is in very good condition and greens are excellent.It's Not very long but because of the trees it's extremely challenging.Will definitely be playing the course again.Probably would have considered joining if it was closer as it's that good.Highly recommend

Really lovely course, great layout, friendly staff and members. One to be on your list of courses to play if you're in the area and haven't played it before.

Always like playing at this club, and the staff and restaurant are lovely. The course is challenging.

A nice but short course. Excellent for a round whilst on holiday. Good welcome in the pro shop. Very reasonable green fee with County Card.

Wow what a beautiful golf course! I emailed the staff several times before going and they were incredibly accommodating and very patient as I am a beginner golfer. Clubhouse had a lovely breakfast menu and cakes were particularly delicious. Course itself was in excellent condition and the rolling hills, dotted with sheep was really special. Thanks to Honiton Golf Club for making our day!

Was OK for a course to play whilst on holiday. We managed to play with the County card green fee, that felt about the right price for this course. The guy in the pro shop was fantastic, really friendly and we had a good chat before our game. We made our way to the practice putting green and a lady with juniors essentially hustled us onto the tee before our tee time... Kinda set the scene as the juniors play a shortened course and it was frustrating to see them rush from the last green and at one point walking alongside us up the Fairway. I suspect the lady was a member who felt visitors did not belong at her club. Greens rolled well despite a patchy grass appearance and bunkers were superb and in great condition. Weeds in the middle of the Fairway was a little disspointing. Course layout is tricky if it's your first time. After the lady and the juniors finished after about 11 holes the game was much more relaxed and me and the wife enjoyed the rest of the round. Not a course I would play again but an OK day out
