Bought car in August and similar problems to review before.No petrol but enough to drive to close petrol station.Break pads not good and all needed be changed.After one month start/stop button broke down. Car returned to carmotion garage where took them one week to sort it and after many calls of my partner as garage discriminate my calls and looks like they don’t treat woman as a person who required respect.Now it showing problems with gearbox so car will be back to garage and contact Motor Ombudsman for selling cars totally different than described

I don't like giving companies less than 5 stars but feel I need to get my points across to help their future handovers.Being in the automotive industry this is my personal opinion.I purchased a car over the phone from car motion with a 10 hour round trip to collect.Wanted to collect the vehicle on a specific date which was 48 hours after purchase but was rejected due to salesmans day off. No other salesman was allowed to handover the car.Arrived to collect the car. Car was in worse shape than expected.Interior parts broken5 miles fuel remainingTyres with 43 psi recommended psi of 32These things I can live with due to the mileage and price but I think the dealership should take pride in their cars and have common courtesy to take the fuel light off.My main problem was the rear discs and pads had very little life in them. Bear in mind this car had went through an mot and safety inspection, with no advisories and no inspection remarks. Brakes were seized on the car and had to roll to car back and forward to release in the forecourt so I could leave.I am contemplating taking the car for independent inspection as I feel its not been checked.Overall it is what it is, purchased a car competitively priced with high mileage just feel the dealership and salesman could give the customers a better experience.Things for dealership to think about:Take pride in your cars.Would you be happy with the car if it was your purchase.Be more flexible in customers needs.Ask employees to have some enthusiasm and enjoy their work.When a customer asks for a video walkround. Speak to the customer point out defects etcSales manager or MD to approach customers to thank them for their businessWould I buy from here again?Probably but I would view the car before handing over any cash.Personal shout out to Brook he wasn't my salesman but bent over backwards to try help me out. I feel if I had first contact with him the outcome would have been different.Additional info:Delivery costs £1.25 per mile each wayWarranty £795 3 years

Myself and my husband bought a range rover evoque. We dealt with Brooke and honestly can't thank him enough for all his help and advice. Can’t fault Brook and the rest of the team at Carmotion, made the long trip up north on Saturday to part exchange my current vehicle and purchase a Skoda Octavia, car was exactly as described and spotless, Brook made the whole exchange and paperwork simple and was very communicative throughout. Hopefully I won’t need to see you guys for a while but if I’m ever in the market for another car, Carmotion will be my first stop! 10/10 customer service

EDIT - 06/06/2023Changing review to 1 starWhen buying the car, I’ve asked about the locking wheel nut key for the car. - Please read my initial review down belowGERNELL- Has clearly took the responsibility to check for me if the nut is in the car, he has checked it and said that the car doesn’t have any fitted as the previous owner removed them.Sure no problem!Few months later of owning the car, tyres are at the legal limit, visited a garage to change my tyres. Guess what, car has locking wheel nuts fitted.Called them today, just to be told that it’s not Gernell’s responsibility now as he didn’t do the handover, Nick did it.(Nick was great, but wasn’t too happy that Gernell left the task for him- which I don’t blame him)But now, I’m being told to call Nick on Thursday (keep in mind we have Tuesday, I can get pulled over at any time and possibly get 6 points on my licence for my tyres being worn) so he can deal with that?Where as Gernell was the person answering my questions, can’t understand why this should be Nicks responsibility.Or I should go to a garage and get them drilled off, when asked who’s gonna pay for that he couldn’t answer my question. Great stuff from a 16k car ;)Gernell you’ve had one job.———————— My initial review ——-Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase of my new Audi from CarMotion. The overall sale process was fairly simple and hassle free.Although I spoke with Gernell on the phone regarding the car, I finally dealt with Nick, who was really helpful, as Gernell was off on the day of pickup, which is understable.However, the reason for 4 stars is that the car had hidden damage to the rear bumper, which wasn't pictured. Looked like the car had some sort of a bump recently.I travelled 3.5h from Bristol to pick up the vehicle. On inspection found damage which wasn't even mentioned in the ad. It's a real shame as they knew I was travelling from far, so they could at least mention that. However, I managed to get £200 towards the repair. I'm not sure if that will cover this but at least it's something towards it.Another thing which I wasn't fully happy with is the missing locking wheel nuts on the vehicle.Coming from a motor trade background, working in a main dealer in the past, it's not best for a dealer to sell a vehicle like that.Overall, I'm happy with the car. I can't fault the car itself. Nick was really professional and helpful.However, for me to give this dealer 5 stars-Fix all known damage to vehicle before listing it - I'm 100% sure the cars get fully inspected on arrival and this must have been reported at time of inspection. Or if they are running short on time due to workshop backlogs etc, please inform potential customers who are travelling from far.-Replace/fit genuine accessories if missing. Overall, it's a 19 plate car, so it would be beneficial to have what it drove out from the factory.-Most dealers offer drive-away insurance but this one didn't.

This is the 3rd time visiting and purchasing from carmotion. This time was just as easy and laid back no pushy sales. Was helped by Nick who was more than happy to let me view as many of the vehicles as wanted. Made the whole process really easy from start to finish.
