Ordered online and collected within a couple of hours. Grabbed some stuff whilst in the store, and it all went quickly and smoothly. Helpful staff.

Service from the young man at the counter was brilliant. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes and explained to him that I would be back in to return the unwanted pairs in a minute and was told yes that’s fine.After trying the shoes on in my car I returned to the store with the 2 unwanted pairs. As the return was being sorted by the same man I spoke to 5 minutes ago an older Woman appeared who I can only presume was his boss. She proceeded to moan at me ,the customer, for trying the shoes on outside! I explained that no one had told me I couldn’t but I might as well have spoken to the brick wall. She continued to moan and threatened they not be refunded. The young man kindly refunded both pairs for me much to her disgust.Great service in general from Screwfix however the Lady there completely ruined the experience and until she figures out how to talk to customers properly i will take my business elsewhere

Jolly kind folk. I ordered click and collect from another branch in the town. They had the item in stock and managed to swap the order. I must be more careful next time.

Ordered on click and collect, all went smoothly had text when ready to collect. Went up 2 metre distancing was applied, staff very friendly and helpful. Good experience in these unusual times.

I don't have technical know how, so sometimes struggle navigating the website to identify the correct items, so have found it easier to go into store and speak to staff who are helpful and courteous. I was able to get what I needed, but also had to order extra, which arrived the next day, for collection, so pretty impressive. Covid arrangements are good, but I did go early morning. Plenty of free parking and good size bays. The only thing I never quite understand, is why each customer is required to provide a postcode, to complete a transaction, so feel a little ambivalent about this level of data sharing/collection, when buying small ironmongery items.

Worst DIY shop ever, says on website pick up next day which actually means with Screwfix it could be there anytime of the day like 3pm in the afternoon, no good if you want something quickly and then quite often it doesn’t even arrive until the next day or day after. Website needs to be clearer and things should arrive next day when advertised, sort it out!

No text received so had to ring to see if order ready. Door handles like many things they sell are poorly finished with sharp edges.

Over the weekend I needed to visit ScrewFix branches in both Ipswich (Whitehouse) and Bury St Edmunds.Nahidul, ScrewFix in Ipswich was patient, helpful and polite whilst searching drawer sliders on the system for us andVini, at ScrewFix Bury St Edmunds, too when she continued the quest.Sadly they couldnt supply on this occasion but did help us with alternative outlets to consider.Nahidul and Vini offered excellent customer service and ScrewFix should consider themselves lucky to have such 'shining' team members.Thank you both, your efforts are very much appreciated. Ordered item on line, to be collected from Ipswich North. Arrived there from warehouse in just under 24hrs. Informed of its arrival and had collected within hour with item installed 2 hours later. Great service and excellent price.
