Not impressed with Fibrus. Sales team makes all kind of promises, but when the Viber Optix surveyor comes out, a different story is told. Checked with neighbours who have had Fibrus for some months - worked great at the start, now having all kinds of problems. Then read these reviews and saw the shocking service people are getting. Thankfully still within the cooling off period so rang to cancel. Someone from the retention team" tried to tell me I shouldn't trust Google reviews

Difficult to comment on the network connection as we still don’t have one! Applied via the SBSF back in Feb and still await our final connection. The site survey was complete in Aug and network build was due to be complete mid Oct. Didn’t happen but after many calls we got the network build completed mid Nov. Installation team (sub contractors) then came two weeks ago but were unable to complete the installation due to an issue with ‘ports’ on the line. They said it had to be handed back to Fibrus to fix but would take a couple of days! Two weeks later, ten calls later, many mixed messages and we still don’t have a clue when the issue will be fixed. To add insult to injury, we have paid Fibrus £750 for the self build installation and managed to build our house quicker than Fibrus installed the broadband! Can someone from Fibrus please sort this out….

What a scam of a service. Signed up in April, it took 13 weeks for the Internet to be connected. I called 23 times and only got 2 call backs, which were fobbing me off as usual.Did you know that the 14 days cancellation period commences when you sign up initially? Even though we hadn't even been connected? Scam!!!We are now hooked in to a 2 year contract with terrible coverage and customer service. They answer the phone but promise call backs yet my phone remains silent.Please stay away and pass this on to elderly relatives who may also be scammed into this contract.

Never had such a horrible experience with any utility supplier in my life. Signed up and within 3 days they were out to install. That was a red flag for me as most you would wait a week at least sometimes. Took 2 vans and about 3 men to install, nothing major to do. Download speed from the get go was absolute rubbish!! 365 max, 55 min for download .. paid for fastest guaranteed 1000mb. Rang them and they tried to blame our phoned not supporting high download speeds!! Have the latest iPhone. Then tried to blame our home walls! It’s a standard 3 bed terrace house, not a huge mansion! Cancelled within 14 days. Was billed and they took 39.99 out within 10 days of install. I was told 30 days later. So requested refund, after a failed attempt of an employee putting it through, finally complaints department put it through and waited 8 working days to receive it back. DO NOT recommend at all. Back with sky and getting 448mb download with a 500 min max download!

Referred a friend who had it installed at a third of the price that I am paying for the exact same package and he also recieved a free echo dot. Fibrus are not very consistent with their pricing. AlI I was told when calling customer service about the large difference was that the pricing is seasonal. I recommend anyone considering installing Fibrus Broadband to wait until winter and pay a third of the price. Wish I had stayed with SKY.

Fibrus have been setting up around my home for the last year or so, during a local Christmas lights event we were approached by a promotor to see if we were interested. Being a bit of a tech head I knew what they were offering and after a bit of discussion, discovery of a black Friday deal we signed up to 1Gb broadband. After a couple of messages saying welcome aboard etc I was called to arrange an install date, all smooth and without fuss. Day of install and 3 operatives turn up all wearing PPE (I work in safety) and they proceeded to install the line, set up the routers, clean up, help set up the App and hoover the room. All the way through they were pleasant, polite and asked questions like where would you like it based" etc. All very nice

I was told Fibrus would handle the change from BT. However, this was a lie, and I had to do all of the work. They didn't tell me I would have to do this myself until after the installation, which means I am paying for 2 broadband connections until the 30 day cancellation period from BT is over. The installation itself was an absolute joke - I'm not sure who Fibrus use, but they should be sacked immediately. My wife was told the only place the fibre could be installed was the kitchen, despite everyone else having theirs cabled into the living room. The fibre looks like a 2 year old had installed it. The price for a 1Gb connection varies - we would need to pay £15 more than someone in the next town. Overall, very poor first impressions - I just hope it's going to be reliable.

I've had a series of false promises to contact me about various issues and provide installation dates. I've had guarantees of times on installation and calls back from the installation team that have not happened. Add to that I've now been told there is no guarantee that the installation would be carried out before Christmas. This company is shambolic. The only positive is the lady I spoke to on the phone, who at least was polite and cooperative. They have no complaints department that I can email and claim to have nowhere that I can send a letter of complaint as they are a 'paperless company'. Avoid at all costs. Believe the awful reviews. I didn't....

Avoid at all costs!!!! Switched from BT to save a few quid a month and have had nothing but issues. In the past 30 days I have had no internet for 17 of those. Customer service is absolutely appalling. The entire fibrus network is just a series of contractors and subcontractors who do not communicate with eachother, everything is outsourced to another person and you will receive no communication, huge regret moving to this company and will be doing everything I can to remove myself from the contract

Would have been nice if they even bothered to connect my house, came round promising the world signed up and that was that. Sent round engineer who looked like an extra from the planet of the apes but with less personality and intelligence and I could tell he couldn't be bothered with the work left after two minutes then got text later on that week saying that the order had been cancelled even tho I hadn't asked. Tried to make contact but with no results. Wouldn't sign with them now even if they begged me to just total rubbish.
