Craignure Bunkhouse - Hostel
We had a great one night stay at the bunkhouse. Ivan was really welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The bunkhouse was immaculate with a fully equipped kitchen, large open plan living area complete with wood burner. Thanks Ivan you’re a star!

Nice bunkhouse in a really convenient location for the ferry. Communal areas were excellent with a large and comfortable lounge, great book and game selection, and lots of maps and guides. The kitchen was really well organised and equipped and very clean. Only downside was the fridge running warm, often hitting 8C.Our room was ok, the beds were comfortable and there was ample storage and lights/power. It was a bit cobwebby in places and they obviously have problems with the moisture in the bathrooms as we had a mouldy shower curtain and rusty fittings. Shower was good and strong though. WiFi didn't reach to our room either but was good in the communal area.One odd thing was that they were fully booked but over two nights we only saw one other family. It gave us a quiet stay but something to consider if you like an energetic bunkhouse.

Great location in Craignure, yards from the ferry. Rooms were clean but toilet access was problematic as the 2 public area toilets appeared to have been locked from the outside for no reason.Very handy for food and drink in the Craignure Inn which is good.

Craignure Bunkhouse - Hostel
My wife and I stayed for one week in a family room that we booked for exclusive use, it was great value for money. The location is very central and a perfect base for exploring the Island. The main ferry terminal and bus services are a short walk away. The bunkhouse is closed during the day from 10am – 4:00pm. We found this to be quite common during most of our hostel stays around the west coast of Scotland,for us this is not an issue as there is so much to see and explore on Mull we were always out until after 5pm. The rooms and all common areas were immaculate. There is underfloor heating throughout the building and a lovely log burner with plenty of logs if you feel like enjoying the warmth of the fire. Enjoyed our stay, everything you need under one roof!

A warm welcome on arrival. Superbly run, spacious, clean & comfortable. Large walk-in shower & plenty of hot water was ideal after a day cycling.Kitchen out of action due to COVID restrictions, but looked well equipped. Good pub next door, serving food made up for this.Looking forward to a return visit.

Handy for the ferry. Clean. Well set out. It is a Bunkhouse so come prepared, bring your own towels etc or pay to hire within staffed hours. Really lovely place. Highly recommended

We stayed for two nights in a 6-bed room. Everything was great. The host was kind and welcoming. Everything was very clean. The kitchen and common room were well equipped. Overall very pleasant stay.

I stayed a few days and the first thing that captures my attention is the new building. All furnitures are really new, from the living area until the bedroom (very comfortable mattress). Other thing that captured my attention was the big clean kitchen that everyone can use. The bathroom also is very modern and the hot water is perfect.There's a bootroom where you can leave your wet stuff .Also I have to say that the managers were very kind every single time that I needed them.100% recommended.

It has been a really good choice to stay here. The building is new. All the facilities are in perfect conditions. The bedrooms with the bathroom inside are perfect. And the beds are really comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Every place here is very clean. The staff that works there are really friendly and helpful. If you want to visit this amazing Isle I totally recommend stay there.

Highly recommended bunkhouse. Ivan was a great host and kept an eye on small details, you can tell he loves his job. The bunkouse is very clean. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need. The setting is spectacular and just a few meters from the ferry to Oban. I will definitely be back!
