Beautiful walk, and on our door step too. Perfect for walking the dog and just so peaceful. Some wonderful volunteer litterpickers often help to maintain it. It's an old quarry.

Lovely and peaceful, loads of places for kids to climb and explore. Full of birds and insects and burrows and fab nature. Just a shame about the rubbish and broken glass..it needs some bins so people maybe encouraged to bin their litter, also needs a bit of tlc. Apart from that we love the place. It has some brilliant bike trails and ramps too for those who like bike jumps and thrills.

Tried this place today for a short walk with the dog, parked opposite the entrance for daisy chain & followed the path round to the old quarry area, again somewhere that could be lovely if it weren't for the rubbish, the paths surrounding gravel hole are a bit more tidy so if we do go back we will stick to these parts.
