I wish I'd taken a photo of the roast dinner but I was too hungry and couldn't wait to tuck in. Trust me, it looked amazing! The roast pork belly is the best roast for sure, the yorkies are fresh and homemade, gone cauli-cheese is the best I've ever had. Really great roast dinner, I highly recommend!

This is definitely one of the best places we have eaten on the island. We had the lamb hotpot with a selection of vegetable which tasted homecooked with lots of flavour and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. A choice of 3 great ales and very helpful and friendly staff that made us and our little dog Monty feel very welcome. We are a frequent visitor to the island and will certainly be coming back to the new inn again

The New Inn is hands down one of the best places you can eat on the island. My wife and I always book it whenever we visit the island. Wendy and her team do a fantastic job of looking after you and treating you to delicious food.Thank you for an amazing roast and rhubarb crumble!

Wasn’t able to get anything to eat or drink as the (I assume) manager was incredibly rude to myself and a few others (around 5-6 people) to tell us they weren’t open. We then asked if we could get a drink when they did open, but was told to move our cars out of their car park because they are “fully booked for Sunday lunch”. THEY WEREN’T EVEN OPEN. It says they open at 11am on Sunday, but apparently it’s 12pm.Lovely area and looked like a really nice pub, but the manager there needs to look at her disgusting attitude as none of us stayed.EDIT: because I can’t seem to reply to your reply on this review, I’ll put it here. Many people weren’t told about the car park situation. And it doesn’t matter about the opening hours. My main point here is the way you treated us. You made us feel like nothing as we weren’t “Sunday roast” customers. We were prepared to give you our money for drinks on that unexpectedly hot day and the attitude we received pushed us away. This “entitlement” you seem to think we have isn’t true. We don’t need a red carpet and private parking. All we wanted was some respect. It’s great that you helped out the marshals as they were brilliant and allowing runners to use the toilet facilities, but just remember that supporters work hard too getting from place to place and cheering everyone on. Maybe not working as hard as the other guys, but at least they’re there. Also, I didn’t want to write any of this. But this was the only part of the day which was negative. I’m leaving this review because no one deserves to be treated the way we were treated.

Absolutely Glorious. Driving Isle Of Wight trying to find proper seafood. By chance stopped here. £21? For a fresh large Brown crab. Salad & fries. Tasted fantastic. Presented well not messed about with. Great tasting simple Sea Food.I would highly recommend this pub.

6 of us, eating and drinking at lunch time. Nice atmosphere. Cheerful greeting. Food was well presented, well cooked and tasty, also reasonable prices. Nothing was too much trouble.Would recommend.
