Staff at downstairs till were so slow, 1 woman and two younger girls with faces like fizz at the till. Certainly puts you off going back.Customer Service training very badly needed!!!

Very rude staff went in at 6.30pm at which point I thought the store closed at 8pm looked around found what I was looking for but was too high for me to get it so asked for assistance from a member of staff to be rudely told she doesn't do the footwear she does the til someone else will need to help then the person who is doing footwear was also rude & acted like we were an inconvenience to her then when I requested a pair of trainers was told I'd be lucky if the till was still on as they closed at 7pm! Do not go near the place if they are due to close customer service is awful

Lots of great bargains and sales at the moment, lots of variety regarding casual clothes, workout clothes, and work clothes. Plus, a good range of sizes too!

Terrible, lots of staff not wanting to serve customer, We went looking for a member of staff who was not doing anything, when we asked him if he could help he shouted down to another member of staff and ask him if he could help this member states he is busy, he then asked another member of staff if he was free, by this time I was ready to walk out!! This member of staff said he was not free but came up to us moaning , I am disgusted with the way we were treated and will not be back, I am surprised if you sell much from this branch as all the staff are to busy doing nothing to help customers

Reopening day for the store after lockdown, lovely lad served us on the till, he was really nervous as it was his first day, but really lovely, kept apologising, told him not to worry and everyone needs to be a little more patient and kind in these times

Typical sports direct with the obligatory unhelpful staff. The store has two floors, the first floor has a reasonable selection of sports equipment and is generally not very busy. The ground floor has lots of branded trainers and clothes, usually quite busy and has the unmistakable aroma of lynx body spray. I would recommend that you use the website and have your goods delivered if you really must buy anything from sports direct.

The staff in this shop are so polite and helpful ì would rate 100% well done the next me and wife go back done to dumfries we will be back to this shop just how the staff treat you well done

Phoned ahead to ask if they had rock climbing shoes. Was told they had them. Drove over an hour to get them. Arrived and told they don't have them. Excuse was that someone from Game answered and they don't know the stock. In that case, don't have the Game employees answer Sports Direct questions. Waste of time and money.

Staff stand around talking at the till and impossible to get proper help from them with anything. Clothes are mislabelled with incorrect sizes and the store is terribly laid out for finding anything

on entering sports direct shop in dumfries i was embarrassed to see a member of staff being searched at the main door and this girl had to lift her shirt up to be searched properly my wife and i were gobsmaked to see this being done in front of customers in full public view .the staff member was obviously embarrassed as her face was bright red.We understand the right of a company to carry out a stop and search policy on employees ,but we feel this could be done in a more dignified way.
