Babylon School of Arabic

I spent a month in the UK, during which I was enrolled in the Young Learners course at Babylon. I came with a group of nine, and we were welcomed very warmly and the airport and taken by a bus to Salisbury where the school is. We were then taken to our host families, who were very welcoming as well.The family I stayed with did everything to make sure I was settled. The food was interesting, as I have never eaten any British dishes. I loved the shepherds pie.The classes were very engaging and fun. The school focuses on building confidence in English more than the extremely arcane stuff, such as grammar; which I greatly enjoyed. One of the classes was about creating an effective survey, and after that, we were given time to survey the people of Salisbury. Once we analyzed the results, we gave presentations about them. I loved this class!In addition to classes, there were excursions to lots of different cities and town within the UK. We were taken to Winchester, Bournemouth, London, Bath, and Oxford.I recommend this summer school to anyone looking to improve their English language, and increase their cultural awareness.
