Stopped going here a number of years ago as it got really bad, thought a revisit was over due and was happy we did!Service was good, staff were quick and very friendly.Food was really good although the curry had very little meat and the world’s smallest naan - it was nice, but not good value.Pub is in a great location, parking situation/signs is deliberately confusing, as it stands now if you are eating you don’t need to pay.

Great food. Fast and helpful service, Lionel!!!We got there after 2pm and the (yummy) food was cooked to order. Gladly surprise with the generous portions and fair prices.Free (limited by time) car park for patronsWe will try to come back when in the area.

We visited on a few days during the hot weather with the outside garden very busy - the staff were always friendly and polite even when people were queuing at the bar etc. They were very helpful re food options as my wife can only eat gluten free and the dogs were welcomed. All of the food we had was perfectly adequate for what we wanted and was good pub food so Jo complaints.During very busy times we had to wait a while before being able to order food but on all occasions it was hassle free

We called in on our way back to Bristol. Since it was a warm evening we sat outside. Everything about the visit was highly enjoyable. The food was immaculately cooked and presented. Those serving the meal were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely call again next time! Well done everyone!

We attended on Friday the 8th December evening and felt unwelcome. I asked for a hot chocolate and was told no as the machine had already been cleaned (this was at 8pm). When I didn’t add gratuity on two lemonades he muttered something under his breath. Overall wouldn’t return based upon his unwelcoming demeanour.

How this place has changed since I had a university holiday job there working behind the bar between 1998 and 2002. In those days the staff were friendly and attentive and seemed to care about their jobs.On our visit, the staff were chatting together on the bar when we walked in and seemed ‘bothered’ to show us our table. In fact they didn’t show us our table, they just pointed at it. No explanation was given about whether it was table service or you needed to order at the bar so after a wait we walked over to the bar to order. In terms of the atmosphere, it was on the cold side inside and rather than having some nice music there was the audio of some sports channel playing. I think the bar staff were watching some sports on the large TV. Not a very welcoming atmosphere.Whilst pouring drinks the bar staff continued to giggle and chat to each other a bit like they had some inside joke. I also found the staff uniforms a bit odd, trainers, sports socks and shorts. Maybe this is company policy but if so maybe it should be revisited.Unfortunately the food didn’t make up for the lacklustre service. We both had roast Turkey Sunday lunch. The gravy was extremely thick and overly salty, some of the veg was burned and mostly over cooked and the Turkey was on the tough side. This place has really gone down hill. We won’t be returning and there are much better options on Gower.

Booked on the website. Forced to pay 10 pounds to secure booking. When arrived said money hadn't come through! Pub empty. Kitchen shuts at 9pm. Rude staff. Turned away International visitors at 20.35pm and verbally belittled them. A bitter taste to take back for future visitors. Some customer service training wouldn't go amiss here. This establishment will not survive with the current business ethos.Food was mediocre. Rotten lettuce as garnish. Many menu items not available. Poor vegetarian and vegan menus. Wouldn't recommend. Travel a little further to the Mumbles and hopefully with a change of ethos this establishment can be turned around.

Lovely pub, we had Sunday roast today and it was amazing. Good vegetarian options too.
