The Good Fellow George
The atmosphere in this place is second to none. Great wine and beer selections. Their cheese boards are fantastic but their small plates are just amazing. It’s a shame they only have them on Thursdays to Sundays. I was still thinking about for days after. I’ve been back many times and every time the food is excellent. I recommended the chicken, the steak, the beetroot, the patatas basically all of it!

Decided to come here when I found out they had Hawkstone lager on draft and I wasn't disappointed. The lagers were lovely and we also decided to have a gin and tonic. We also found out it was the day of their new menu releasing so we had to give it a try and it all tasted amazing and will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu. The staff are very polite and chatty and create a welcoming environment. There are 3 seating areas which are located on the ground floor, a small room up some stairs and a small outdoor roof space.

Such a warm cozy atmosphere! They recently started a tapas menu, which is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the chicken dish and the truffled fries. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. They also host different activities such as comedy and vynil nights. One of my favourite places to go in Nottingham.

Good beer and exceptionally good food. Haven't tried the meat option yet but the choices on the cheese platter are just amazing. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff can highly recommend .

I organised my 30th birthday here in a quieter room upstairs and I can't thank George and the team enough. They all went above and beyond to make it a special day. Always great atmosphere, drinks and food 10/10, amazing team, thank you!

Nicely refurbished (2nd time around) bank on Canning Circus.A huge choice of real ales and bar snacks. Lovely cosy atmosphere and comfortable seating. Friendly bar staff.

amazing atmosphere, staff were amazing.. food was so awful.. patastas was dreadful.. badly boiled potatoes with unseasoned tomatoes, whitebait was good.. salami was disgusting.. inedible.. poor choice.. never going back

Great food, lovely atmosphere and fab staff. Love coming here.Had a selection of small plates and then a cheeseboard to share - cheese selection was excellent!
