Terrible. Would not recommend. It is UNSAFE. There is no member of staff on-site at night or at weekends, which means that if parties or noise is taking place outside someone's room or god forbid something more serious such as a fire, there is no one there to help students. Students are very vulnerable in this regard. They have student 'wardens' (other students living onsite) to help with any potential issues at night/at weekends but this in reality this doesn't work and it is an unfair amount of responsibility on them. The only reason it is done, is that it works out cheaper for the company not to employ someone to work there at night and at weekends. This is very poor service considering the extortionate prices students are paying and is common to provide 24/7 care in other types of accommodation elsewhere, especially in Barcelona for example. They have an emergency number for students to ring, but you generally have to wait at least 30 minutes to get through to someone and they are seldom helpful. If you have a very serious emergency there, you are on your own and will find yourself in serious trouble.Walls are thin and you can hear everything outside your room. Windows are also very thin and do not block the cold or noise outside.Extortionate prices.Quite an impersonal and unfriendly vibe in the accommodation itself. No real sense of community. If you are an International Student, they lock you into a contract so you can't get out.The receptionist was rude, snarky and petty in my dealings with him and I don't think he was passing on the problems onsite and complaints he received (from many of us) to management above him. Nothing was ever done to resolve the issues pointed out to him. He would become nasty when you make a very reasonable issue known to him and fob students off to pretend he had resolved a situation when really he had done nothing and just hoped he would get away with it.One incident occurred in April or May 2021, when after heavy rainfall, many of the corridors were flooded with water and water was dripping onto electrical wiring. We didn't know where the water came from or what gave rise to it. It happened on a Saturday so the receptionist was not there. The emergency number was phoned but they said there was nothing they could do. We were fearful that more flooding could occur as more rainfall was forecast and also fearful of the potential for fire due to the water dripping on to an electrical box and wiring. The receptionist was contacted via whatsapp but he did not come out to review the situation. He just asked a student warden to mop up the flooding and said someone would be out on Monday to look at it. He said it was fine even though he had not even looked at it himself or had it professionally inspected. This was shocking. The company are just very lucky that something more serious has not happened.

Nice, modern room though expensive for the size, especially that of the washroom which is quite small. Effectively more modern and cleaner student halls. Extra facilities seem nice, though have mostly been unusable due to the current pandemic. Parking on site is pretty extortionate and not guaranteed as the car park is very small, so I haven't brought my car with me; but the apartments are located next to the train station and bus routes with supermarkets close by so not a huge issue. Biggest issue for me is that the noise insulation is poor and I am frequently disrupted in the nights by sounds emerging from my floor, but I suppose it's a gamble who you're sharing with. Post is also a bit of a gamble as you don't receive notifications when you have a parcel through, so if someone else sends you any mail without telling you, then you probably wouldn't know it was there unless you frequently check your post (I don't). A big positive, however, is the current management. Ahmed has provided us with various ways of (safely) connecting with one another through the pandemic and has overall made it seem like there is a sense of community within the building and someone looking out for us. He is very responsive to emails and any issues that you may have and always willing to fix them ASAP. I feel safe living here with his management and he has made the experience a lot more comforting.

I'll just start by stating that the management for this accomodation is top-notch. The manager Ahmed has been extremly helpful and cooperative at all times. I had to move out earlier than expected due to the pandemic and with me being stuck in my home country, Ahmed cooperated alot to find a replacement tenant, I've never seen any management being so supportive and understanding of a tenant's situation and helping to solve it asap. The rooms are modern and reasonably sized and the building comes with loads of other facilities particularly study-spaces and an on-site gym & cinema which unfortunately were not fully usable because of the govt guidelines. The location is ideal with Cabot Circus being a 7 min walk, it has loads of supermarts and shops nearby and the Temple Meads railway station is just 5 mins away, so moving in was v easy. Overall, I'd say for the facilities and the modern rooms you're getting, the rent is reasonable albeit a bit high for a student. Anyhow I'd highly recommend this accomodation to any prospective tenant, the management is exemplary & the location and quality of the facilities provided make it a well worthy choice.

I like the fact that the rooms are ensuite and the location is central. However, noise through walls and floors of the apartments can make living there unbearable. Also, although i had paid for parking and have an allocated parking space, i am not guaranteed parking. Overall, i can't see myself recommending this place, its an experience i'd rather like to forget.

Had a terrible time here, got trapped in a contract I couldn't cancel and the staff are unbelievable rude/biased, if you want to complain about anything you'll need to take it to head office yourself because they don't do it for you, which is unfortunate as head office never reply anyway.Would not recommend to anyone, waste of money and the facilities are terrible, the gym is tiny and had minimal facilities that aren't kept well at all.If you're a student trying to find a place to live last minute I'd still recommended you avoid this here.

Throughout my time at WL they have been very helpful. Throughout the pandemic the extra facilities were closed however they did provide treats/food almost every night that I was there at the reception which I found really great! I had to isolate twice while I was there, once I actually had Covid and they were helpful to organise a warden to collect my shopping from reception and bring it up to my room. I also had to move back home and Ahmed was extremely helpful in helping me find a replacement for my tenancy. Overall good experience, would recommend.

The best student accommodation in the whole of bristol, once you check in, you do not have to worry about anything. Absolutely worth the price. The admin staff (Ahmed) is very helpful and caring. They took the covid situation into consideration and accepted my request to store my belongings for over 7 months now, after i have left the property and the country. Thanks for all the support, I really appreciate all of it.

Nice modern looking room though paint marked if touched... I had to put runners on window beams to stop my books marking the paint due to inventory prise list being so high!Staff didn't seem to be around much, and one admitted to me that she hadn't got round to sending out parcel notifications for a couple of days! This is frustrating when you've been expecting mail and it's just been sat there.Building was not clean hallways had food spills that were never cleaned, communal areas were OK but would often have duty floors. Washing machines smelt damp and horrid.

Washroom is too tiny. Besides that the accommodation is good. The bed, lounge, kitchen, study spaces are excellent. Great location too - quiet and supermarkets nearby. Near to the railway station and city centre.

The rooms here are really nice and with all the additional facilities they offer, it makes living away from home a lot more easier. It is also located in a very convenient area with city centre and train station being a short walk away. The people working in the office are also really helpful and friendly.
