Quick Stitch - Davenport

Bit disappointed, they missed putting strips on the bottom of my trousers and they made mistakes with the lining of my wife's jacket sleeve, so basically mistakes on the 2 garments we wanted altering. When we picked up my wife's jacket, the manager wasn't there and his tailor tried to convince us that the lining was correct and it was normal for it to show past the sleeve, until we insisted it was wrong. Would suggest you check the work there rather than just pick things up otherwise you'll have a few trips there and back. I'm not tempted to use them again.Have just read the owner response, just to clarify this was a 3* review so I didn't rate it as bad. As you say you were very busy and this was a honest review of my experience. Google prompted me to review so I didn't go out of my way to make one. And you don't know me so you should not make any personal comments.

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon with a pair of ladies work trouser which needed a new zip - the work was completed immediately. Absolutely brilliant customer service, friendly and a super quick turnaround! Thank you!

Should not be called quick" stitch. Was told to pick up some trousers (in for a simple take in) at any time on a Tuesday. After having the trousers for 4 days I went to pick them up on the Tuesday evening only to be told they could not find them (after they tried to give me some that weren't mine). After 20 minutes of them hopelessly looking the man the told me to help him look which ended with him finding them crumpled up in the corner of there table not completed. Would not recommend

I've used Quick Stitch a few times now- trousers shortened, leather jacket zip replacement and most recently my daughter's prom dress shortened and straps altered. Every time we've been very happy with the quality of work, the speed it's taken and the friendly service, would definitely recommend!

Took my daughters coat after the zip broke, they did a brilliant job, it was quite expensive at £25 but its great quality work so was happy to pay.

Week earlier i`d asked whether they could fix my bag they said certainly. Come back in a weeks time and will have it done for you. Turned up a week later they hadn't fixed my bag no phone call to say we are running behind..Reply to the ownerSomeone from your shop could of given me a call to say your running behind I would of been happy with that.Just complete silence.After the rude reply I won't be returning.

Only been here twice, the first was a full tailoring job and it wasn't incredible but it was okay. The second time was just for a Quick Stitch" I was waiting 2 months for the work to be done. It does look okay but at times I felt like they said yes

Absolutely superb service I cannot thank Quick Stitch enough! We brought in my most prized Doc Martens cherry red boots because the zip had come completely off - disaster! But the gentleman is a master of the art of alterations and not only mended the zip but polished the boots to look brand new out the box. I’m well and truly astonished at the quality of service and professionalism and cannot recommend them enough.A very reasonable price too not to mention same day service. Unbeatable. Did a brilliant job on a designer lightweight sports jacket. Altered the whole silhouette so that it fitted my daughter exactly the way she liked. Amazing job and very reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again.

Went in there to get my leather jacket sleeve length altered. They measured the sleeves up and recommended the length to take off. I left my jacket with them and when I received it it fit much better! No complaints from me - it was a very good price for what I got!
