Enjoyed a visit for hot chocolate and a cake on a cold December morning after a long walk. Cakes were tasty and the drinks were hot and flavoursome. Menus on the wall for lunch and dinner looked good.

We came as a walk in and had luck to get a no show table.Had some Fish and Chips, Taste of the Sea and dessert.Food was tasty and the staff was friendly.Would come back everytime.Thanks for serving us!

Friendly restaurant along the Main Street, excellent service. Great quality of fish. We had the scallop roe starter which was the highlight of the meal.

Heaven on a plate. The food was excellent. Cooked to perfection. The staff were fabulous, friendly and provided an excellent service. The atmosphere was great. A lovely buzz about the place but with a relaxed feel. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening

Great little place to eat. Had fish n chips. Delicious. The staff is very professional and attentive. My fish would've made a perfect sandwich on the homemade bread if they offered the option.

Very good mushroom ravioli, and great tomato and red pepper soup. Bass was good but quite small. Amazing lake views.

Our group of 8 made a reservation at the restaurant. We had read the reviews and were really looking forward to eating there. Unfortunately, the next day a storm rolled in with heavy rain and wind gust up to 75 miles an hour. We hoped it would pass but had to make a last minute decision to cancel the reservation as it was not safe to drive. We were up a very curvy, single track road. There were also signs that the road could become flooded. We were very shocked to learn upon calling that we would be charged a cancellation fee of 40£ per person. We were told the policy is stated on the web page, which we missed. Given the circumstances of the weather that was out of our control we felt that the fee should have been waived. On top of that 40£ per person is a ridiculously high amount to charge for a cancellation!! I would dine at this restaurant as it put profits over the sagely of the customer.

A very good menu and a warm welcome from a small team on a miserable Thursday in March, when there are few visitors, and easy parking outside, in summer expect to struggle to find a spot.The fish and chips were very good and the Taste of the Sea excellent, two langoustine, king scallop, smoked salmon, smoked and fresh mussels with bread and butter.There are options for vegetarians and even meat eaters though their strength is in seafood and fish.If you are just after tea or coffee and cake there's plenty of choice.
