STAY AWAY, if I could give 0 stars I would. I'm in disbelief at the appalling level of service I've received.I'm a FTB and got in contact with Philip Cartin at Ewings. Ewings were completely unhelpful from the very start of me engaging with them. Some of the issues I experienced:- I received different quotes from other prospective buyers in my building, with no explanation of the reason, even when I asked for the breakdown of costs to be explained. I asked for confirmation whether my quote included VAT and the response I received was the cost information is all set out in the document". I requested a call with Philip to confirm the details and he was still very unhelpful and would not clarify whether VAT was included.- A leasehold fee was included in my soon-to-be neighbours quote and not in mine

Spoke with Michael Gallagher recently about an upcoming court case. I found him to be really friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and incredibly well versed in this particular area. His generous time on the phone and sound advice proved invaluable on my day in court. I couldn't be more grateful. Will be recommending this firm to anyone I meet who needs legal advice from now on.

Awful service from beginning to end. Really poor, old processes of everything needing to be done via post... all the staff were rude and didn't respond to emails or calls. Avoid.

I have had the good fortune to use Ewings & Co for over 20 years.In matters of Family Law and Conveyancing. Looking back at two decades of service, they have never been anything but excellent,professional and caring. Ewings are not a huge firm but have a wealth of experience which they use to provide a truly personal service. Superb, use them.

Excellent soliciters and a great service. Good communication and advice with a professional approach. High praise and a big thank you to Mr Gallagher, Mr crampin and Miss ryan for their undeterred efforts and understanding approach to each and every individual case and situation. Top notch they have good experiance and no their job. Me and my partner are highly satisfied with the service we received.

To summarise, two faced, greedy and dishonest. Mrs Ewing took advantage of my mother, billing 4x what the process should have cost. Repeatedly charged us for documents that were never sent and billed for phone calls to tel us they can’t talk on the phone. It felt like professional gaslighting. They ticked just enough boxes to make them seem professional.She cut out the rest of the family from the process, knowing our mother was very vulnerable and then tried to put it on us for not being involved enough. They made an already traumatic event much, much worse. Stay well clear, their priorities are not your best interest.

I had a great experience using Ewings and working with Nick for purchase of our first property. Thank you for consistently being proactive, professional and diligent. I cannot recommend this firm enough.

Nick at Ewings handled our conveyancing with great efficiency. We were in a difficult situation between our old property and the next one and he really helped it come through for us.

I contacted your office over five weeks ago, spoke to the Receptionist about my query and she tried to put me through to a Solicitor, but unfortunately could not as the lines were busy. I was told that she would speak to the Solicitor and get them to call me back and I have still not had a call back. The weirdest thing is that I should have known this would have happened because this is not the first time that Ewing's have done this to me. Hence the reason I contacted another Solicitor right away.

We bought our first flat in November 2012. Ewings & Co was recommended to us by a friend of a friend and we were not disappointed. The lawyer was very thorough but for our own good and the communication was efficient. The initial estimated cost was realistic and this despite a very difficult transaction mainly because of the third lawyer introduced by HSBC.I really recommend this lawyer but of course you also need to make your homework when you are buying a property.
