I trained with this club for years and was able to develop confidence, respect, discipline and fitness as a teenager. This is a safe space for people to work together to develop essential life skills and have lots of fun. You are encouraged to try new things at your own pace in a safe, supportive environment, regardless of age or level.I continue to recommend this club to anyone that will listen! Nokemono is the best club I have ever trained with and produces some of the most disciplined individuals I have ever met.

Last year during lockdown I was at a real low point. With no job to go to and no activities on I told myself that when the next opportunity comes I would take it with both hands.I attended my first session at Nokemono Judokwai in Winton at the beginning of September and I honestly haven’t looked back since!The club is so welcoming under the tutorship of Pete and Rich. They have the experience and knowledge to help everyone through techniques and throws at their own pace. Each session is a great mix of intense work but is also broken down to understand what you are actually doing and it’s so fun too!As someone who has spent my life being a part of sports clubs, which can sometimes be a “closed shop” or “hard to get into” this club is perfect for experienced people but also rank beginners.It helps build self confidence, self esteem and really helps you see what you are capable of achieving!I would honestly encourage anyone to come down and give it a go! You’ll get a work out, learn something new and make new friends!

One of the highlights of my week. Rolling with these guys (and gals) is one hell of an education in fighting fitness.Friendly members, highly educational, and a great way to keep fit. Great club
