The Sugar Lounge
Amazing! We went on Saturday the atmosphere was fantastic! Great DJ everyone having a great time. Staff/ managers are very friendly, lovely people. Came back today ( Sunday ) great vibe outside in the sun, background music playing and again staff very friendlyWe also went back on a Thursday evening to dine in the restaurant. We were extremely happy with the friendly high standard of service and quality of the food. I had the duck spring roll to start and the Thai green curry, it was amazing! My partner had the bao buns and also these were fabulous. We will 100% be regulars at the sugar lounge.

Had to go down and try it for myself! I couldn’t fault anything. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Cocktail menu has a great range of choices and the food was amazing with great selection! If you are wanting to have a quiet day drink with friends, a family meal, date night or even a night out I highly recommend!

We have had a wonderful meal tonight at the newly opened Sugar Lounge. Josh our waiter was fantastic, very attentive and had a great sense of humour. The tapas menu was well laid out with choices categorised by land sea and soil. This made it easy to choose. I normally find ordering tapas too complicated. This was easy. The best bit was the food. It was so flavoursome…probably the best tapas I have ever had. The only criticism is why there were not more customers. People of Nantwich you need to support this great restaurant!

Food was Beautifully presented and really tasty. Lots of sharing options and Tapas dishes from around the world. Service was excellent. We went at 6:30 on a Saturday so it was quite quiet, hence the 3 stars for atmosphere, but a lovely place to eat. Good value for money and excellent food. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was very good. Its great for sharing with mixtures of small and large plates. The bao buns were delicious as was the beef sharer. Annabelle was our server who pleasant explained all the food and how it worked. She was great. For us the atmosphere did not work. The lighting from the central catwalk is distracting and the music kept changing volume and at times was too loud to talk. The music may have been great for the nightclub style room next door and the bar but did not match the dining experience. That said we will be back again just for the food. This was also only their second day open so you can expect some teething problems.

We left feeling a little disappointed. The expensive prices are not proportionate to the small plates that you receive. The tapas idea is great, however not very well executed.

The food was amazing, great choices! The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was great. Will definiteley be returning!I would say that there shouldn't be an automatic service charge applied as that should be costed into the price of drinks and food. The customer should be given the choice whether to tip. Although this wouldn't deter me from returning.

Was excited to try the sugar lounge and was disappointed to say the least. The cocktail menu now consists of around 6 or 7 cocktails , a lot of the classics have been removed. We dined and wasn’t asked about allergies which should be standard practice, and items were added into dishes that weren’t stated on the menu. The menu sounds and looks great however the reality was very different and the food served was disappointing, shrimp crackers we were served about 6 which came with mango chutney !! And chunks of mango for £5, the duck spring rolls turned out to be one spring roll cut in half for £7, and was greasy. Salt and pepper fries had no taste , the chicken satay was good but the sauce was stone cold and more like a mayonnaise. Several diners also told us to avoid the duck and pancakes as it was tiny got £25 and not worth the money, as well as commenting on a the tube size of boiled rice which was £5.We asked for the restaurant manager to discuss the food and to say he came over in a rude manner was an understatement , justification was that they had been open 4 days and he wasn’t interested in our comments, the food also shown on social media and Instagram is not what is served. The Music in the dining roo was either too low you couldn’t hear it or too high you couldn’t hear, and it kept being turned up and down during the meal. The live entertainment was also very disappointing as the singer just stood at the back of the room , and the volume had been reduced so we couldn’t tell what song she was singing and didn’t utilise the light catwalk , which looks out of place in the centre of the dining room.We discussed our thoughts with the general manager Jo who was lovely, however the experience was not great and I certainly won’t return for dinner.
