Went there today. Woman on till was rude. I was still getting my order she told Me to move along. I ended up dropping my tray with food on floor.she tutted loudly and glared at me.

Very poor experience, I asked if they had any vegan milks available and they almost laughed to my face and said simply no" with no further explanations. Can you imagine someone trying to go to a cafe with lactose intolerance and being laughed at for asking for alternative milk options for their cuppa? The waiter that attended me should be suspended for discrimination. It's also unbelievable in this time and age that a cafe does not offer alternative milks. You should be ashamed of yourselves!"

Nice place to get some nice food, although very expensive! A bacon sandwich (with 2 rashers of bacon) and a hot chocolate was over £6!! Yet I can get the same from Greggs for £2 with 3 rashers of bacon in sandwich! The staff are lovely and the views from inside are nice but much better from outside seats. There are a few seats and tables and can easily be busy in weekends and holidays where there is nowhere to sit. They do offer food to be taken away so can take it and eat on grass in park. On hot days be prepared for cold drinks and ice creams to sell out very quickly

We've visited many times since it opened . It's very popular weekends and holidays. Coffee is nice . The floor is some sort of stone and when it's busy the noise reverberates as dies the scraping of the chairs. No dogs allowed which is a shame as in the winter there's not too many people about and it's too cold outside. I'd emailed the council to ask but due to health and safety and children there, dogs not allowed. A few tables set aside maybe ? Many places are dog friendly these days , why not the tearoom in the Towers .

Visited the cafe on Sunday and unfortunately it wasn't the best.Nice latte, but there was several long hairs throughout my sandwich and there were small hairs on the salad and my friends meal she ordered. It was £22 for what I got would have considered quite reasonable but for hygiene reasons hair nets and hats should be worn for thise preparing food.

Nice cafe in a great park. Service and cleanliness are always good, food is nice and reasonably priced. Not the trendiest of cafes, but always consistent.

Can't explain our disappointment when it closed at 3pm today, Saturday 11.9.21Sun was shining, plenty people heading there after walking the magnificent park.We reached the Cafe by 3:10Every cafe we know usually closes 4pmWould be interesting to know the reason for early closure? We found a mobile servery next to the Lake.Large Lux hot choc & large Tea, 4 great Donuts £10.Drinks hot & delicious (as have tasted bad tea) Friendly, efficient service.Sat around the relaxing Rose Garden on comfortable seating in full sunshine.
