This company are amazing! Their customer service is second to none. We ordered a beautiful tree as a birthday present and unfortunately got the recipients address wrong. Bonsai Direct sorted it all out with no fuss and the tree was delivered safely in lovely condition.

I absolutely love this company - I've now bought 2 bonsai from them and they are absolutely beautiful; in great condition with new leaves and clearly well cared for (as well as speedy delivery). They also do great tools and products to help care for your bonsai. The advice on their website and videos are really informative too - a great place to start if you have any concerns.

First of all, I don’t normally write reviews, but the quality and service of Bonsai Direct has blown me away! Sarah was so helpful in giving advice and recommendations (I had a difficult time choosing a Bonsai). She was super quick to reply to my (many many) questions and definitely knows her stuff! Even though the service was outstanding, I wanted to wait until my little tree arrived to write a full review. It arrived this morning (via overnight shipping) in a very well packaged box and is exactly what I expected (maybe even looks better in person!) I always feel a little nervous making online purchases (especially for plants), but I honestly cannot recommend Bonsai direct enough. I will definitely be coming back for all my Bonsai needs in the future. Thank you!!!

Fantastic service all the way through from when I placed the order through to delivery. I paid for next day delivery and got it, which is very rare these days and I also had regular updates on when my delivery could be expected. When the delivery arrived the Bonsai was in excellent condition and it was evident that a lot of care had been taken with the tree and there was nothing missing from the gift package I had ordered. I will most definitely be recommending you and ordering from you again.

Beautiful sweet plum tree delivered in perfect condition. I've ordered several times from Bonsaidirect and the service is always spot on. I would say the trees are a bit more expensive than other suppliers, but the quality is amazing and the trees are obviously well cared for. Mine arrived looking exactly like the photo which is why I have just ordered again !

I have left my review for a few weeks to see how the bonsai would settle in. I bought my first bonsai from bonsai direct, and I can honestly say that the service is amazing. I ordered at 3pm on a Wednesday and it arrived beautifully packaged on the Thursday morning. there are care instructions in the box and loads of info on their website and the bonsai is doing great. I would definitely recommend.

I ordered this week for a Christmas present and I was not getting any updates with UPS which I assume there was delays which was no fault of Bonsai Direct, however the customer service was outstanding as soon as I advised of this issue and asked for an update on my order I received an email followed by a call (cannot remember the name) explaining that they have sent a new tree next day delivery with DPD which was received in time. Thank you so much and love the tree :)

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE & RIP OFF BONSAI (Bonsai Direct Twig in black pot on the left cost £395 / Heron's Bonsai on the right cost £295)Bonsai direct RIP CUSTOMERS & taxpayers OFF even more, as they DON'T pay VAT, so they are pocketing ALL the money they overcharge. Heron's pay 20% VAT of the cost to HMRC.DO NOT buy Bonsai's from this company. The WORST experience I have ever had with a company ever!! I paid almost £400 for a premium range bonsai which was listed as measuring at 50 cm including the pot. The actual tree itself measures only 30cm. I can't believe the bonsai was potted in such a large pot for the size of the bonsai. They have done this to con their customers and rip people off. I know they included the pot in the measurements but I did not for one minute think they would use a pot 20cm deep. BONSAI DIRECT ARE A CON!THIS WAS NOT THE WORST PART... I purchased the Bonsai as a Christmas present which arrived a few days before Christmas. I decided I wanted to return the Bonsai as it was very overpriced and I wanted a much larger bonsai (50cm) for the £400 I paid.As it was Christmas and bank holidays I contacted the company on the 29th of December. I got an email back saying fine I can return it. Then shortly after I got another email saying that it had to be returned within 7 days of delivery. By this time it was 8 days since the bonsai was delivered. I asked how would it be possible to return it over Christmas when they were closed? We then spoke to them on the phone to a woman called Sarah. The company cannot take any criticism at all when we explained that they have potted the small bonsai in such a large pot and completely overcharged us for the bonsai. The woman on the phone completely lost the plot and handed the phone over to her colleague. We spoke to another person as Sarah was pretty hysterical by this point called Lloyd and he was very abusive and was swearing at me, at the end of the conversation Lloyd said we could return the bonsai.I then contacted Fedex as I wanted to use a good courier company to ensure the bonsai was sent back safe and well. Once a collection date was arranged I emailed Sarah to let her know, I then got an email back saying that they would not accept the bonsai after all. I got quite a few emails from Sarah, every time she continued to insult my husband saying that he was threatening her on the phone. I could not believe the way we were being treated. I have noticed other people have had the same horrible experience and it would seem that if you have any problems at all you are told that you being threatening towards them. Never in my life have I have had such a terrible experience and been treated like this. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. If you want a bonsai, buy from Heron bonsai's. Just check the website and compare bonsai sizes to see just how much Bonsai direct overcharge their customers.Heron's Bonsai's measure 50cm and 55cm including the pot. Unlike Bonsai direct which sell you a 50 cm tree which is actually ONLY 30 cm tall!!!!IN RESPONSE TO BONSAI DIRECTThe size of the Bonsai IS incorrect because it is NOT 50cm it IS 30cm! which is such a big difference, you have charged £400 for a 30cm bonsai!! I would not of bought the Bonsai if I had known it was only 30 cm. I wanted one that measured 50cm like you listed on the website. So Yes Bonsai direct have done things wrong which is what I have explained but they don't seem to be taking on board my feedback.8 days is not 'well after' 7 days, It was Christmas and you said we could return it then changed your mind.Sarah has bombarded me with me emails making up stories because staff can't take criticism and you certainly do not keep your customers happy, that couldn't be further from the truth. People only have to read previous bad reviews and they all say the same. That your company tell lies, are dismissive and rude worst of all insult people by telling them that are being threatening when they simply have a problem with their order.Your company is a disgrace.
