Mandy motivates me to do better for my dog... and ultimately for me too. To see my gorgeous dog learn new things and love every minute of it - inspires me, motivates me and destresses me! Based on positive reinforcement (don't we all need some), you can see your dog grow and thrive. Mine loves every minute of it.I highly recommend Field & Fido if you want your dog to get the most out of life.

I have been attending training classes with Mandy since Inca was 12 weeks old. Her positive training and advice has helped me and Inca from puppy to gun dog training. We love attending classes every week, learning new things, revisiting past learnings. Inca is certainly enjoying it and gets very pleased with herself when she completes the task. Typically working cocker who thinks she is very funny! Everyone I meet on walks always comments on Inca’s amazing recall and that is all down to Mandy’s training and advice. Thank you

I have attended the puppy classes and then gun dog training with both of our dogs, firstly Mabel a Labrador and now Margot our Spaniel.Mandy is always very reassuring and gives clear instructions, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.A great way to build a good relationship with your dog!

We've been attending classes with Mandy since our Labrador was 8 weeks old, with personal 1:1 classes and also group classes, via zoom in lockdown. Through all the fun and some of the tears the whole experience has been amazing and weekly no we would do everything to attend regular classes. Mandy trains us as much as our dog but has had a huge impact on his behaviour and our bond with him!

I initially started training with Mandy just to complete the puppy course but I have enjoyed training so much we are still training together a few years later. I have been impressed with Mandy's knowledge of not only gun dogs but many different breeds and her experience with dogs body language. Mandy makes training fun and the dogs respond well to her positive training methods. I would highly recommend Field & Fido whether you are looking for puppy classes or more in depth training.

She is an excellent trainer, builds a great rapport with both owner and dog, makes the classes fun and offers training at a variety of local locations. Having Mandy to help guide us through covid with a Puppy was invaluable , firstly with one on one sessions ( when allowed ) before progressing to the group classes . Her teaching is very clear, her knowledge & understanding of dogs and their behaviour is very comprehensive and the classes are very enjoyable . I’d thoroughly recommend her to anyone who wishes to have a well behaved & fun dog .

Mandy is a great trainer, using positive training methods.She has endless patience, which she needs with my Flat Coated Retriever who still thinks every go should be his.Her lessons are held at different outside venues, making them interesting, fun and never boring for the dogs or the owners, and great for proofing behaviours in realistic environments, which you don't get with most training.I would definitely recommend Mandy to anyone.

I have gained so much enjoyment and confidence in handling my dog by attending the puppy classes, continuation training and now gun dog training. My dog loves the classes and gets so much out of the training. Mandy never sees an issue as a problem and always has advice and a suggestion to resolve it. She and Jane are calm and great teachers and make the lessons fun and rewarding. We leave with a feeling of renewed vigour each time.
