Foxburrow Nature Reserve Suffolk Wildlife Trust

Lovely place to spend a few hours walking and watching wildlife. They were selling hot & cold drinks and home made cakes when we were there but I think this was only occasional. Parking is about a 2 mile walk away but at weekends there's a shuttle bus. We'll definitely return when the weather is warmer

sheep! The ponds! The adventure bridge in the orchard was a lovely walk. Enjoyed seeing a bird of prey also!

Amazing place for exploring wildlife with kids.

When we went on the Easter trail there were plenty of activities and the staff were always informative. Definitely a great spot. Also, there are 6 Geocaches for any Geocachers. The atmosphere is also very positive.

We love this place! It has a couple of trails which you can follow from the car park, and is pretty flat, so is good for tough buggies and toddlers. There are wooded areas too. Be aware that unless there is an event the loos are closed, and there are no refreshments.

Lovely little place for a walk in piece and quiet

Lovely little nature reserve 'farm' nestling close to Woodbridge. Went with my 5 year old for one of her friend's birthday parties and was treated to bug-hunting in a wild-flower meadow and pond-dipping, all with an excellent, friendly, well-informed warden.

A lovely site to have a walk with family and friends. Also if you call in during the week on a Wednesday and alternate Sundays they have a pop up cafe serving hot drinks , cans of pop and muffins and flapjacks. The centre also runs a variety of activities from adult courses to children's holiday clubs.A beautiful nature reserve full of life!

Visited with my children for a pond-dipping session. More than two hours of activities, science, arts&crafts, nature, play and family fun. The session was well planned, and we found lots of mini-beasts (despite the water-level being a little low in the pond, due to the drought). The whole area was shady and safe for all, with clean toilet facilities for hand-washing. The area is becoming wonderfully re-wilded, letting you see how a rural Suffolk farm setting can be used to support the natural recovery of the area. There were horses in the field and a wonderful array of plants, wildlife and old buildings. We went for a short walk around the site (as part of the planned trail for our event) and found areas perfect for den-building and bug-hunts. There are no dogs allowed on site, so it is perfect for children to explore in safety (no dog's mess to be found in the long grass, in the wild woods, or anywhere.) The staff were friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. This was a fantastic morning for me and my family. We will return.
