ScS - Sofas, Flooring & Furniture

It is not possible to give below one star, if it was then that is what the review here would be.After constant delays since ordering our carpets in August (it is now 3 days from December) we were given a final (confirmed) date for their arrival only to be told that SCS did not know where the carpets were on that date. That is the icing on the pathetically inept cake.Not once have we been called to discuss the delay on the carpets, I have made around 10 calls alone in the last month to the SCS Head Office who are just as unhelpful. I can't believe they have the audacity in store to say get your carpets before Christmas... Christmas 2022 maybe.

Just borough our new sofa from scs today. Overall experience was outstanding. Was served by Mr. Brendan who gave us plenty of time to choose the right sofa and helped us save over £2k.. He is an amazing personality, so calm even when we took ages to decide. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

Please stay away from this company, no matter how beautiful the claims they make. I haven't had atrocious services like them ever before. We placed an order with SCS for our carpets at the end week of Feb. when the fitter came to install the carpets, after 2 weeks they realized that the staircase carpets were damaged. doesn't the company inspect their delivery before they send it to their customers? They told us that our delivery will be coming today (after 1 month) and now when I check with them they have again pushed the date to 19th. We reside in London and have to travel to Birmingham, taking leave from work, just to make sure we get the products we purchased. the agent that was sweet when servicing us now pretends to be busy and avoids us every time we go to the branch to ask for a solution on this. ATROCIOUS.

We got the chair we wanted with ease. The salesman was friendly and showed us around the options, no pressure. He then left us alone to try the chairs out.Delivery was as promised, lovely chair, really comfortable and happy with the price, which was discounted.

The service from shop was great but our sofa is only 3 months old and has developed faults. A seat has settled and it creaks. A technician came out and advised we do not sit on the settled seat and use the good one (yes, he really said this!) as it is within their parameters according to his report, he could not do anything about the creaking as this was not reported.I had to report again and a 2nd technician came out on same day and founds springs at fault but it has been 5 days and still waiting to hear from this report. We took out the extended warranty which is not worth the paper it is written on. Sofas from SCS are an investment but spend your money wisely as SCS sofas are no longer quality or durable.

When I first moved into my own home 12 years ago I had my first sofa from scs , and it has lasted up until now. My husband and I decided it was time for a upgrade. So we went into store , coincidentally when there was a sale. Had a good browse around. Staff allowed us to take as long as we wanted , they weren't forceful. They left us to it. And we left with 2 sofas for a bargain price. I cannot fault SCS the sofas are long lasting and worth the price. I would highly recommend this store and the service we have received xx

Had continual problems with this company sofa delivered with s hole in it after waiting 7 weeks.waiting another 7 weeks to be told on day of delivery 2nd suite was damaged.the day suite was to be returned as (decided to get refund) was phoned and told that they would pick up the following day.and now nearly 3 weeks on still awaiting refund even though we were advised would take 10 days after suite was returned

Absolutely shocking service. First big purchase with my partner, took measurements of our flat in (sizes of doors, hallway etc.) and was told they were all pretty standard and the sofa we chose would fit. Once the delivery day came, surprise surprise, it didn't fit. Went back to store and the manager was as useful as a wet paper bag. Was told it was our fault and that we have no rights. Got told that if we would have bought online we would have had 28 days to return it but because we went in store we get NOTHING. Have had to fork out another £120 to get an upholsterer to take the arms off and then reassemble it in our flat which we'll have to pay for again when we inevitably move out.Absolutely terrible service, don't care about customers just want the sale.

Excellent customer service by Sarb. I was told everything about the two sets of sofas l was considering by a well trained and experienced sales rep. Shop was comfortable, welcoming, and warm. I met their new Deputy Manager, Amo, who was also very helpful and considerate when sorting finance.
