We popped in mid afternoon and grabbed a pizza which was very very nice. Service was warm and welcoming and atmosphere was nice. What a lovely outside space they have too.

First time been since new ownership. Menu was fun but food was hit and miss. Lots of staff stood around and tables with mess on.

Went in late morning when breakfast menu was still being served. My friend and I were on a coach trip, and didnt want a big fried meal and we asked if we could buy a big breakfast and have an extra plate so we could share. Lovely staff who said certainly, so ordered and 2 cups of tea.Food was nice and the service was excellent. Thankyou girls.

BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH Absolutely amazing service. First time ever had a member of staff coming to the table and asking if we would like another drink!! Thank you Anna and Laura you made the experience so much better!

Had the Fish and chips there for lunch. They were amongst the best I've ever tasted. Just lovely. I won't be frequenting The Whaler anymore.Will definitely be returning.

Nice pub. Stopped in for a drink on a Monday afternoon and was pretty quiet. £9.30 for a pint of ale and a coke felt quite expensive. Had the same at other pubs today and those were closer to £7.[Updated review as I'd incorrectly thought our two drinks were over £10, but wasn't far off.]

This is a busy place, but the service was spot on, clean, and looks great inside.The food was nice but nothing special. I ordered a meaty pizza and my mate got the burger. (See Photo's attached)The menu is on the expensive side for what it is. Luckily, the atmosphere here is great for social gatherings. I'd definitely recommend it here with friends.
