Dawn Homes Bullying and Intimidation over 150mm (6 Inches)Local Family man Phil Hewitt has been forced to remove his Boundary fence by Dawn Homes at their 100+acre site Burngreen Brae site in Kilsyth near Glasgow after complaining once about drainage problems following extensive excavation works directly behind his family home.Within days of complaining about surface water problems the housing giants Site manager and Sub-contractors started their intimidation by throwing verbal abuse over the boundary fence, this was followed up with their Surveyor spray painting their interpretation of the boundary onto the private property of this family home. When confronted by Phil, the Dawn Homes Surveyor advised him that the fence was actually 150mm into the housing giants site. The next day Phil was approached by 3 workmen while photographing the evidence, he was told in no uncertain terms that his fence was in fact 150mm into Dawn Homes site and they were actively clearing the site up to the newly marked boundaries.At this point Phil took legal advise, he had 2 options, 1. If he wanted to dispute this action he would need to employ a surveyor and a lawyer and then take them to court, this would cost thousands of pounds and take 6-12 months, or 2. He could remove his fence and allow dawn homes to enforce the new boundary!Due to financial costs and the minuscule amount of land disputed (150mm along a 27m boundary) Phil unfortunately had no option but to remove his fence and give in to the Intimidation imposed by Dawn Homes.Please share to highlight this outrageous bullying behaviour to Phil, his wife and 2 children by Dawn Homes.
