Absolutely fabulous! Ordered two cars a day ahead. Call handler super friendly and both cars arrived exactly on time with a text message giving details. Drivers were both extremely chatty and keen to share their knowledge of the local area. Honestly cannot recommend highly enough!

Can’t remember the last time I managed to successfully book a taxi with this lot. Their app is awful. Takes your money for a booking and then cancels without sending you a notification to say they’ve cancelled. So many times I’ve been left waiting because I wasn’t told they’d decided to cancel my booking AFTER taking my money. They do eventually refund but that’s not the point. It’s really poor customer service. Amateur at best. The moment Uber discover there’s more to the UK than just London, companies like this will be out of business purely because they fail at doing the basics right. Really, really poor.

Driver arrived right on time and was friendly and very patient. I also left my phone in the car which the driver reported and returned it to the office. Office staff were also very friendly and helpful in returning my phone. So thank you to A1 Cars!

When and only when the taxi arrived, the drivers are always lovely. However the app is awful, they cancelled your ride even when you made one a week ago. Don’t even bother call cause the operators are always rude and will shout at you. Most of the time there are no taxis available
