Really poor experience, shame as I had booked them based on the reviews and the site survey.Our ground floor was quoted to take 3 days and we discussed the fact that it had grooves between the planks, these were inspected and included in the quote.3-4 hours in on the first day the entire downstairs floor was sanded for all grades including edges.When I arrived home primer was going down, this was without the grooves being dealt with, not even cleaned let alone sanded. Meaning all of the previous years dirt, oil as well as the new sanding dust was being sealed in.When I pointed this out they made some effort to scrape out the dust.Dread to think what would have happened if I had trusted them to see the job through.Total downstairs finished that day sanded two coats with a second visit for last coat next morning.Floor left with random groove gaps, still full of dirt with hair and stuff" under top coat. and some elements of ripples and raised grain that do not look good in the light.Super fast but no care.Owner

What a great team! Arbor Flooring not only did a fantastic job patching and then sanding our parquet floor after our kitchen renovation, they worked with us and bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule which was quite volatile. Thank you Jon and Rhys for a fantastic job well done

Jon did an AMAZING job at our property! He sanded and coated the ground floor, and also sanded and stained the staircase. He even replaced some of the floorboards on the landing space. We're extremely happy with the result, especially because we had been told by another company that the floor was too thin to be sanded without damaging it. Jon is also really nice and has a flexible work schedule. To also give some constructive criticism, communication could be better (but that's of course less important than actually doing a neat job).

Lovely people who did a great job - brilliant attention to detail filling in areas to match where we had missing wood, then sanded and stained the entire floor so it now looks brand new. Highly recommend!

We chose Arbor Flooring as it is recommended by the Harpenden Network group and we are very satisfied with the services. Jon was responsive to our request and had a quick visit to our house. He is friendly, responsible and clearly explained the whole sanding and sealing process to us and gave a reasonable quote afterwards. It took him three days of dedicated work to sand and seal our engineered oak flooring with several coatings. Other works included touching up the skirting boards and putting the plinths back in the kitchen after sanding. Jon also carefully replaced the old trim by the patio door with a new one. It took around 10 days from getting the quote to finish professionally and it was worth it. Money was well spent and I highly recommend Arbor Flooring to other home owners. Jon, thank you for your brilliant work!

Jon and his team restored some floorboards in our 1930s house which had been covered for many years by a carpet. The result was better than we could ever have hoped for. The team were very friendly and efficient, and the floorboards were restored beautifully with the minimum of disruption to us. This was the first time we have used the company and we would definitely go to them again for any other flooring needs.Very impressed all round by the highly professional, quality service that we received.

Really impressed with these guys. On time, no fuss, minimal dust and excellent finish. Ours was an old school hall floor with years of polish built up. Took more work than expected but completed without fuss for the price quoted. Would certainly recommend and use again.Before and after photos below.
