We had everything lined up for a start date with MAI Developments then, 2 weeks before the start date and without any warning, Mark sent me a text message to tell me that he no longer wanted to do the work. Not delay but cancel. I cant help feel that we have been lead on by Mark as his plan B". Obviously Mark has been awarded another job which he preferred to do over ours and he was hedging his bets. Mark had promised me contracts which never arrived

We used Mark and his team to completely renovate our new house. Replacement electrics, plumbing, extension, flooring, fitting the new kitchen and decorating. We basically told him what we wanted to achieve and he took care of all of the planning and building regs, helped us with the design with some very good suggestions and then made it all happen. Him and his team were great, nothing was too much trouble, even when we wanted to change or add work part way through the job and even with all of that they got it done on time and within the cost that we were quoted. All in all we are very happy with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We used Mark for an extension and remodelling of the rear of our house. I honestly couldn't recommend him and his team highly enough. The work was finished to an exceptionally high standard, on time, in budget. He was unflappable, even when we found out the existing first floor extension was balanced on a bit of wood rather than a steel. As well as the build, he also designed our beautiful kitchen and bathroom.To top it off, I was pregnant when the build started and had my daughter when we only had half a house. Mark and his team deployed imaginative methods to rig up plumbing so we could stay in our home with a newborn and still use all of the utilities we needed. I've since recommended him to friends and family who have been delighted with the work he has done for them.We're currently trying to pull together plans to renovate our new house and I wouldn't dream of using anyone else.

We highly recommend Mark and his team, and would definitely use them again. They were with us for two months carrying out a number of jobs including laying new flooring, building new shelving, decorating a bedroom and fitting a new bathroom. They were professional, friendly, on budget and worked hard.

Mark and his team built a wonderful extension to my home and have carried out two extensions on my brothers home over the last 5 years. As a family we would highly recommend Mark and his team. Highly skilled, tidy workers - delivered excellent work as promised, on time and within budget.

We hired Mark to knock down an internal wall and make good after hearing great reviews from friends and we were not disappointed! MAI Developments recently completed a single story extension, installed a new kitchen, and refurbished the ground floor of my house.I would highly recommend MAI Developments. The end result of this project genuinely exceeded my expectations of what was possible, and the standard of finish on every aspect of the work is amazing.I was prepared for this project to be a bit stressful, but the whole experience was easy and low key - thanks to Mark making sure everything was on track, and dealing with all the stuff (like building control) that I didn’t really understand. But most of all, Mark and the team are perfectionists. I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything, because Mark would always make sure everything was perfect. This is definitely reflected in the standard of the finish.Mark was also a huge help in providing advice on all kinds of things - underfloor heating, bi folds, floor finishes, electrics etc. Whenever I wasn’t sure on something, I knew Mark would have good ideas and provide the right answer.Mark also designed the whole kitchen, and created something that is far better than I thought we could achieve with the space, and the end result is simply amazing and something I’ve very much enjoyed showing off to friends and family!

We had an extension and internal alterations done by Mark and his team in 2021/22. The quote was guaranteed which was very reassuring as we were on a very tight budget and didn’t want any hidden surprises. Every workman that Mark employs, without exception, work to the highest standard and were very polite and considerate. As my husband is disabled I was usually the person who was consulted and I was always told what work was timetabled to be done next and never felt patronised about my ignorance of building work. They were also very considerate about the adaptations needed for my husband and improved some of the things shown on the plan so that they would be much easier for him to use. I would thoroughly recommend MAI Development and would not hesitate to use them again

We couldn’t have asked more from Mark and his professional and friendly team. We had an extension built to extend our kitchen, have an outside porch built with new roof, build a brick wall and fence along the boundary and then fitted our new kitchen. From signing the contract to completion of the project was seamless in every way. The attention to detail given to our project by everyone - felt as if it was a project on their own homes…..from suggesting different ways of installation to benefit us and the final look to just simple things like tidying up after themselves - it was painless and if we ever need another project doing we would definitely go back to Mark and his team again.
