Had an interview with John for the role of apprentice Joinery.Straight out the gate in the interview, John did not have any proper questions to ask me.The only question he had was 'tell me about yourself' which is a very plain and awkward question.I am used to professional formal interviews and was not able to express what I would be able to bring to the position. So I'm not entirely sure how he chose his candidate. Purely by looks in my opinion which is not fair.He also swore and made me think that the company was just not a great company to work for.Was also told that it isn't great that I have no joinery experience. When this wasn't required in the role and that this was an apprenticeship. So he contradicted himself. Also telling me that they hired a 16 year old who clearly didn't have joinery experience, so why should it be any different for new employees.Overall not a great experience and would not bother expecting a proper interview with this company.
