Graig Wen Camping & Glamping

Stayed on the Panoramic pitch overlooking the estuary. The scenery is beautiful and what a way to wake up in the morning. Site has everything you need and the owners are very helpful.Facilities clean and tidy. If you are in this area then definitely worth a stay here.

The campsite is very beautiful. Sarah and John are very friendly and helpful. We were given a lift to take our bulky camping stuff from our car to the campsite even on Sunday (really a big help). Tried the croissant and coffee at the reception in the morning and that was surprisingly good and refreshing. Highly recommended camping experience!

A truly wild experience staying in the Idris Yurt - peaceful and secluded in a beautiful location. Need to be reasonably fit to walk from the car parking area to the yurt and would recommend booking a lift if possible to carry your stuff to and from your vehicle. Comfortable arrangements and own hot shower and loo was a bonus.All in all a lovely stay, we had lots of rain for two nights of our stay so was a bit muddy outside but overall great. Great to be in the clean fresh air.

It was a lovely visit, the owners helped us out a lot when we realised our tent was missing parts. Had the best time in the smaller yurt, amazing view with all amenities you’d need. Will definitely come back!

Lovely campsite set in Snowdonia national park.beautiful setting overlooking an estuary and hills in background.Only one other van. Space big enough for our boxer van. Showers lovely and hot. Grey water and toilet dispersal available. Check in very simple details left at reception if no one available. Would definitely recommend .

Absolutely brilliant 3 night stay at Graig Wen. We stayed in a secluded pitch and it was so peaceful. Really good shower and compost toilet close by. Great to have the service available to take our kit from the car to the pitch and back too. Not having cars driving around the site made it extra peaceful. We were so lucky with the weather too. Would recommend the Panorama Walk above Barmouth. It says it’s 4 miles, but it’s more like 5 and is strenuous in parts, but fantastic views and different terrain. Thank you!

Another lovely stay at Graig Wen, we hired the bell tent, it was amazing, the luxuary of having a comfortable bed and also camping is great. The location is superb, staff very helpful and always willing to go that extra mile with helping us enjoy our stay. I have been before a few times and will be back again. lots of great walking and breath taking scenery and the Thursday night pizza was fantastic
