Wow! We came here for burger night after the food had been recommended. This is a lovely pub which has been recently refurbished and is really clean and modern. The food was absolutely beautiful. We came for burger night and had the JD burger with loaded fries… 10/10. We will definitely be returning!

What a great little place ☺️The food is absolutely amazing - we're already talking about going again.The staff were friendly and the whole place is just welcoming.A visit here will not be a regrettable one - highly recommend to book to avoid disappointment.

Went to the mount pleasant on Sunday for a cooked dinner and was extremely impressed with both the service and meal.Our waitress was extremely busy and despite this, made sure we were taken care of and never went without, serving with a constant smile.My family and I didn't have to wait long for food at all. The starter was delicious (leek and potato soup), which was followed by a beef dinner, cooked to perfection and roast potatoes that makes you wish you could have a gigantic bowl to yourself.Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and for the price you can't go wrong. Don't take my word for it check it out for yourself .

10/10 guys, lovely staff, beautiful food perhaps the nicest curry I’ve ever had, very fair price. Will visit again 100% I’ve seen a few reviews popping up about this place after its very respectable refurb, so after a walk along the fourteen locks we went just to check it out. Not many tables though so if it’s towards the weekend possibly reserve a table

The best Sunday lunch for miles. The food is hot, fresh and tasty. Jack and Jasmine have done an amazing job turning this pub around. Quiz night is fun and it has a wonderful atmosphere.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else for Sunday lunch , by far the best we have ever had ( and we eat out a lot ) can also recommend the steak and ale pie on pie night .Very friendly and welcoming pub 10/10

Beautiful Sunday roast here today. Lamb and beef both stunning and plenty of meat and fresh veg. Will definitely return. Loads of tasty gravy and huge Yorkshire puddings!
