Jo completed a beautiful portrait of our ragdoll cat Milo - she captured his colours and personality perfectly! It is something we will treasure forever. I would highly recommend Jo.

From start to finish Jo was helpful, friendly and professional guiding me on which photo, size of picture and medium to use. The final drawing was amazing, it captured Teddie our Cockerpoo in every detail and captured his character. This was a Xmas present for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Jo certainly goes the extra mile to make the experience personal and professional producing amazing quality and detailed drawings.

Jo did a brilliant painting of Max our black Labrador, the likeness is striking and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. I found out about Jo through my wife years ago when she did a portrait of a beloved family bunny for her. I always admired it and constantly complimented the composition. About a year ago we lost our Pepper, a twelve year old Pomeranian. She was simply the best companion. My wife was devastated and I remember feeling helpless in trying to mend her pain. She first met Pepper when she was 18 and they were inseparable since. My wife was heartbroken, as were all of us. We lost a family member. I secretly reached out Jo through her Instagram and I explained the situation. I wanted to commission Jo to do a portrait of Pepper in the same fashion as the one I admired of our beloved bunny. Jo was extremely accommodating, kept constant communication, and kept constantly updating me through her process. I wanted to surprise my wife, so she did an amazing job being discreet until the big reveal, and she even went beyond my request and added a note in the back of the portrait that spoke exactly to the situation. When I presented the portrait to my wife she was speechless. She immediately got emotional. I immediately got emotional. Jo captured the likeness of Pepper to perfection. Jo captured her stance, her color and she gave her beautiful little eyes life again. Our Pepper was back in a sense. We proudly display her in our bedroom and daily remark on how beautiful she is. It was an important piece of the grieving process for us as a family and it gave us a sense of closure that we weren’t expecting. I personally want to thank Jo for professionalism, her talent, and her character. I highly recommend her experience, as the entire process from beginning to the end result was absolutely priceless. This is not the last time that we will commission her for a piece. We hope to have a relationship for years to come. Thank you Jo again. Jo has honestly such an attention to detail when creating your pet’s portrait. We got her to do our bunny’s portrait and now it’s a memorial piece in our home. Everyone always compliments it as it’s so realistic and captured his personality so well. If you want a keepsake forever of your pet then look no further you want Jo Shepherd. I see her details and passion within her work instantly when I see her creations. 10/10 will always recommend. Shipping was also perfect. We live in Canada so I was worried about it going overseas but it arrived in perfect condition.

Jo painted a fantastic portrait of our 2 dogs some years ago and it still have pride of place on the wall to this day. We can not recommend her services too much.
