We came here for Sunday breakfast after a late night. It was buffet style of excellent quality, and for the price, I cannot see how it could be beaten. Impeccable service as well made this one of the best breakfasts had. I now have to come back in the evening to try their steaks!

We arrived a little earlier than our table was booked for, it wasn’t very busy and we were told our table was ready but we decided to sit at the bar and enjoy an Espresso Martini. It was late afternoon and although it seemed to be under staffed & service was a little slow everyone was very pleasant and doing their best. Our food was nicely cooked and really enjoyable. We had the pleasure of meeting waitress Dagmara who was an exceptional lovely young lady, nothing too much trouble for her, you are very lucky to have her on your team.I need to say that before we left there were adequate staff to deal with a busier period.

Visited here today for a Sunday roast as it is definitely one of my current cravings and Sunday favourites ..The roast beef was burnt, the roast potatoes under cooked and hard and not even brown. The cauliflower cheese was half portioned over a very disappointed experience.

Came here yesterday for lunch. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table where our wonderful waitress, Katie O, made us feel welcomed and ensured we had a brilliant visit. She was attentive and very helpful when recommending things from the menu.The food was extremely good value for money. Portions plentiful and tasted great and the drinks were very affordable too. Will definitely be returning in future.

First time here. Fantastic steak,had to send the chips back as they were cold. Paid for onion rings which didn't arrive. Service was a bit slow. Nice decor though and very clean. Wouldn't rush back tbh.

First and last time we’ll be visiting. Waited forever for our food to be served, and then had to wait over an hour for the bill. Plates weren’t cleared after paying the bill either!Not once did any staff member come back to check on us, from the time we entered to the time we left we spoke to a staff member twice.Ordered a £30 fillet medium rare which was served rare, the fact this is supposedly a steak house, you’d expect the steak to be cooked as requested.Sauce is served in what can only be compared to a shot glass, and a handful of chips, for the price I’d expect a little more.As no one checked everything was okay with our food, I ended up leaving the lot, minus a few chips.Definitely won’t be returning ever again.

On the first entry, we were greeted nicely, and our waitress introduced herself to us and was quite bubbly. Then it went downhill.The food was ok, nothing special.Had to WAIT for our main course to arrive. Would have said that was ok, IF they were busy, but they weren'tHAD to WAIT after calling for the bill TWICE again they weren't busy.Other people next to us were complaining about the food being cold.to cap it all off, had the waitress spill ketchup all over my jeans. Though she apologized, I would have expected (maybe/hopefully) for something of the bill.The desert was nice though.Not going back also

Began with a Birra Moretti, which was quite flat and not very good. My second drink was an Asahi, which was a lot better.I had the butchers block meal for around £15. The sausages were cooked to perfection and the sauces were exceptional. I didn't think too much of the French fries.My date had the chicken souvlaki on a skewer for around £20. The souvlaki was superb.Look forward to returning and trying the steak.Bar service could be improved.

We had the mighty block burger which sounded amazing at £17.50. We were left disappointed. The burger should be called the cold mini burger as it was tiny and Luke warm.We also had the short rib burger which was literally short rib in between a bun with nothing else. At £18.50 this was also a very sad looking burger….Wouldn’t come here again

We went for bottomless brunch, we were welcomedbto our table, vegan brunch was amazing, I recommend chimi churi veg, service was outstanding. We were served by Jacob who was professional, very friendly and chatty. It was really good to have a naturally personable waiter . We were left with great memories, he's an asset to Bar and Block. Will definitely ho back there. Cocktails are amazing
