Amazing staff really helpful. Our little doggie went missing after getting out our back gate. Called city dogs home after a hour search for her distraught. They took all my details and called back half an hour later to let us know someone was bringing a dog in and if we could get there asap they wouldn’t have to book her in. Managed to get there before the people that found her and was reunited. So grateful for the help, call them straight away if your dog goes missing!

Lovely staff & dogs seem to be very thoughtfully looked after. Their system of booking to view, meet & greet with other pets plus not going around the kennels upsetting all the animals is much better than others I have been to. Staff take time to get to know you & careful consideration goes into homing.

My wife & I are volunteer dog walkers. Sadly we're not in the position to adopt one as I'm currently waiting for an Autism Assistance Dog, but walking them on a Sunday means we get our 'doggie fix' and the pups get their walkies, cuddles, and plenty of treats! The staff are very friendly, the dogs appear happy & well cared for, and they do an amazing job. Please, if you're looking for a pet dog, adopt - don't shop! You'll save their life, they'll save yours, and you'll make a space free for another furry friend in need :)

Went there to adopt a dog which we were extremely interested in, the actual staff where lovely but the volunteers they have including the volunteer representatives where beyond rude to myself and my family, turned us off from adopting the dog we went there for and even had to report the volunteers to the council. They need to respect the public a lot more!Luckily the staff members helped us against the disguising attitude of the volunteers and their representatives who were out right rude!I hope that the pup we wanted has found his forever home and is out of the way of the volunteers at the centre.

Excellent at trying to contact us . Good service but was very expensive. They charge nearly £200 to pick up our small dog.
