Sheffield City Council - Moorfoot Offices

My social worker Lucy smith does not contact me what's so ever and never helps me with anything. I struggle with poor social care do not recommend needs sorting asap disgusting never picks up when I need her most and hasn't helped me with any difficult situation I'm going through not on at all worst social worker I've had!!!

Not good

HR Are unhelpful and do not deal with complaints.Dot Smith is useless as is the director Mark Bennett.They do not want to hear the truth of how bad the sheffield services are so just ignore and fob you off.

Anything the council does it to line its own pockets at the expense of the residents it is supposed to serve, selling off public car parks, secret deals with the Chinese, Charging residents to drive their cars, constantly increasing council tax.It all just stinks.

It's a good place

Not great to work for! TFM team are all old mates etc get paid loads for not a lot!

This is a review of the Advice and Conciliation Service and of Children's Services. These Services are described as offering impartial advice and support to parents who may wish to make a complaint against a school or a nursery. In spite of the fact that my son, age 3, had broken his leg at nursery and that the member of staff responsible for him that afternoon had told me on arrival that she was not supposed to know how this had happened or what every child under her care was doing at any one moment, the Manager of the Advice and Conciliation Service and the Head of Children's Services offered no support or advice, but instead tried to discourage me from making a complaint or pursuing it in any way. My experience of these services is that they are partial and biased, offering support not to the parent, but protecting the interests of the educational institution.

Try to deliver a letter and they react like you set light to their entire family and tried to offer them a marshmallow you toasted over the smouldering corpses.They'll insist they've never heard of the concept of internal mail because they can't be bothered to do something that deviates from their How-Can-I-Not-Help-You" script.But oh won't they whine if they don't get the letter they refused to accept in person quickly enough when you went outside and posted it in the post box while they popped gum
