Get Cooking!

Thank you Anne-Marie for last nights class.My friend and I had a lovely evening making ravioli and tagliatelle pasta last night. Anne-Marie is so patient and knowledgeable. What was nice is that we didn’t feel rushed and we got to eat what we made.We made butternut squash with spinach and walnut ravioli tossed in a butter and garlic sauce with tomato and lemon zest. It was so fresh and delicious. We tossed the tagliatelle in the same sauce.I don’t think I will buy bought pasta again.I would highly recommend booking a class either face to face or online with Anne-Marie. We are now going to book a Thai cooking class.Fiona x

Brilliant class, my son has done two 12 week zoom cooking courses as part of his Duke of Edinburgh bronze award. He has really enjoyed the lessons and has increased in confidence and skill from initially not even wanting to have the camera on during lessons. Ann Marie has taught a range of recipes and skills culminating in him cooking a roast chicken dinner which was absolutely fantastic and even included home made gravy. The lessons have been perfectly timed for serving up a family meal or dessert which has been great - a day a week off from cooking for me! It has been great seeing how proud my son has been of his achievements as we all tuck into meals he has created. Ann Marie is a wonderful teacher and these lessons are such great value. I think it is an added bonus that you can cook in your own home with your own equipment. Can't recommend these lessons highly enough.

My daughters and I enjoyed the 12 week zoom cook along with Ann Marie. It’s lovely that she has watched them grow with their cookery skills from her lessons, starting at toddler age and now into teenage years. We’ve learnt so many recipe ideas, skills and cost saving ways. Your scone recipe is still our firm favourite!

I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking an enjoyable, and informative cooking experience. My wife and I had a private lesson with Anne, who was warm and welcoming and very accommodating to our tastes and skill level. The lesson exceeded our expectations and we left with not only newfound culinary skills but also with more confidence and excitement for cooking.

Had yet another excellent zoom session with Anne Marie making hot cross buns and simnel muffins on a zoom class! So delicious and so much fun! It’s an excellent way to connect with far away friends, learn and walk away with a yummy treat! Can’t wait to do another class soon!

What a fun lovely evening with Anne! Not only was the food exceptional, it was a beautiful kitchen! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the pasta making course and would definitely consider coming again. Anne was really patient and very helpful in the way she taught us. Who knew having warm hands would be a an eye opener for when kneading the dough! Anne-Marie did an amazing job for my son's 9th birthday party. The kids were excited and are very energetic. Anne-Marie got them to calm down, focus and work together. They loved making (and eating!) fresh pasta, mini pizzas and chocolate brownies. My son and another friend loved it so much that they have asked for pasta machine's for Christmas presents :-). Thank you so much.

I've had 2 lessons now - a group and an individual lesson and both have been superb! Anne Marie is a fantastic teacher with lots of tips and tricks, and it is a lovely environment to learn in. I would definitely recommend Anne Marie's lessons to anyone, she was great to adapt around what I wanted to learn and help boost my confidence in the kitchen. I'll be back!

Anne Marie cooked a delicious breakfast snack for our community event at Wren Hall, Wroxall and then shared a host of great ideas for cooking simple healthy food with locally grown produce without waste whilst also saving money. Lots of practical tips presented in a really enjoyable way by someone who is passionate about what she does - fantastic!

We loved Anne Marie's workshop today, the recipe's were simple but great (and tasty). My son tried some new food that he wouldn't usually be keen on trying at home. Anne Marie made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Thankyou very much!Lisa and Max
