New World Eastbourne LTD

This Chinese has just delivered my food, I've food and got a refund. The money was not the issue. The food was disgusting!! The chips were refried and had no potato left in them, the rice was brown were the egg had burnt. The chicken with the beansprouts was gooey in the middle and the outside like leather. Honestly wouldn't bother, it's terrible. Will not be ordering from here ever again!!! Stay well away!!

DON'T ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE WAITING OVER 1 HOUR 45 MINUTES FOR YOUR WARM MEAL. I ordered from Just Eat last night at 9:23pm and was delivered after 11pm. My house is a 6 minute drive away. The restaurant was also dodgy in logging that my order was sent out to delivery at 10:10pm, when according to the driver was sent out at 10:45pm. On Just Eat, they put it arrived with me at 10:40pm! What a joke! Also, the veggie spring rolls I ordered had 1 duck roll in there. A warning to all veggies and vegans!

Food arrived quickly but was inedible and feel would have been very ill if had eaten this Chicken balls were grey and mushy inside, other chicken was undercooked and pink All the food had a strange grey colour and bad smell and did not look fresh at all,.Phoned the restaurant the manager was very polite and immediately refunded me. Would not recommend this place!

Horrible!Avoid. Very salty but otherwise tasteless chicken fried rice. Low quality ingredients sacrificing taste over cost. Will never order again. Chicken balls looked as though they’d been cooked about six times, very very thick batter and just a smidge of dirty chicken inside.

You must be an idiot to order from here. Blood in my food, rude blonde girl. The most narcissistic takeaway ever. Disgusting. My 3 year son can cook better than these crooks

Honestly wouldn't have even given 1 star if I had the option, ordered food at 6pm and was told would arrive by 6.55. At 7.25 I called and asked how long and was told it was on its way. Half an hour later I called back the girl said its still out for delivery! it would be freezing by the time it got here! The girl was rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional. We won't be using again!

Ordered from here tonight through Just Eat and then read some poor reviews so I called the restaurant to make sure my order was on the way (1hr 20 mins after placing the order) The lady that answered was clearly flustered and was unable to keep up with orders, and tried to say that the 1 hour and 20 minutes was the amount of time the restaurant had to accept the order, not deliver it. Knowing this is untrue, I spoke to Just Eat, who agreed. Whilst speaking to them, I had a voicemail from the restaurant to call them back. They said they would not be proceeding with my order because I was rude on the phone and then made a complaint with Just Eat. They then told me I had to go through Just Eat for a refund - presumeably knowing you can only get a 50% refund when you cancel the order. They then hung up before I could respond. Luckily Just Eat were great and I got the full refund. They will also be taking it futher with New World and agreed the customer service is shocking and they should not be operating if they cannot handle the order amounts.

So many bad reviews about late deliveries. The takeaway restaurants are very busy at the moment, some deliveries will be late due to the pandemic!!!. So far my deliveries have been on time so I can't fault this restaurant, and the delivery service. The food taste delicious! it's one of the best Chinese takeaway I've had for along time. Especially the A3 set meal. go give it a try.

I'd highly recommend the king prawn chow mein and egg fried rice (obviously). Delivery was quick, food was great, one of the best Chinese takeaways I've had.
