Had Jack out to re-roof a new house purchase and honestly couldn’t fault the service, would give 10/10 if it was possible, nothing but service with a smile from start to finish with an efficient, clean and tidy job done, definitely worth giving him a call!

Tilney Roofing came out to repair a leak down the side of a Velux skylight and repair the disintegrated foam and two further leaks. The repair consisted of applying a patch piece of membrane and gluing this down. After the first rainfall the patch repair still leaked and the membrane and shifted and it looked like it hadn't been glued down sufficiently. So I asked them to come out an re-repair. Their view was that my roof was old and needed re-felting and re-tiling. They then applied a further patch and were confident it wouldn't leak. They said if it still leaks after this second repair they don't know why this is. I have since taken further independent advice from a building surveyor. My roof doesn't need re-tiling or refelting at this stage the surveyor says it certainly has more more life in it. He said when they pulled back the tiles they should have extended the membrane toward the edge of the tile to close the gap between the window. This company doesn't know what they are doing - they haven't fixed the problem and I am left with leaking roof.
