Well done Andy, another high standard pass at Lancing with Jessica, only two minor faults, following on from Jordan with no minors. The stats don't lie, keep up the great work. The roads are safer knowing your pupils are such a high standard before taking their test.

Andy,I wanted to congratulate you on thirty five years as an instructor.Having worked with you at 1st Class Driver Training and known you for even longer, I can honestly say you are a top bloke. Not just with your high standard of teaching, of which there are many many examples, but with your honesty integrity and patience, your ability to put people at ease whilst always maintaining a level of professionalism that is a credit to the industry. Your knowledge of the subject and high pass rate is a reflection of your determination desire and experience, hence you receive so many recommendations, such as children of parents you taught many years ago. You make the lessons interesting whilst always aiming to get the pupils to reach the highest standard possible, not just to pass the test but to encourage them to be the best they can, even when they’ve passed.Who else could say they were in The Guinness Book of Records for teaching someone to drive and passing their test in two days with nine hours tuition. ( A cutting from The Argus newspaper refers, also on 1st Class Driver Training website)The fact the job centre constantly recommended you to people seeking better work opportunities, says a lot. You enabled so many unemployed people to find work.You’ve taught people who don’t speak English, with an interpreter sitting on the back seat, people with disabilities and special needs, who you showed immense compassion for.Of course, it hasn’t just been learners, you’ve regularly been used by hotels to enable staff involved in parking customers cars, to reach a standard the customers would expect.Also taxi companies, bringing drivers up to a level where customers feel safe.Many of these people have become friends.Anyway, I could go on and on, suffice to say, anyone learning with you is very privilegedThe industry is so much better for people like you.Well done and here’s to the next thirty five!!!

I passed with Andy 26 years ago. Absolute top instructor. Andy you will be pleased to know 26years on and still a clean licence lol.

I had lessons with a very experienced instructor, however I’m sure that his politeness need to be improved. When I said to him that I found that his method of teaching wasn’t really right for me, he said that he had 32 years of experience teaching people how to drive and that he didn’t care about my opinion. It’s sad to see someone who you are paying and trusting your time to teach you to be so rude.

I started my lessons with Andy at the start of March. Very friendly and calm influence as i started a bit apprehensive. I've enjoyed every single lesson so far and am always looking forward to the my next one. He always gives me clear instructions and a schedule that outlines my progress. I would recommend Andy to anybody who is going to start there lessons.

BEWARE. Andy is a truly terrible and dishonest driving instructor.I spent well over £2k on lesson from him; always paying in cash as requested, which should have been a warning about his integrity.I did not particularly enjoy the lessons, but was very focused as I needed my license urgently. When I came to sit my practical test, unfortunately, as a result of panicking, I failed on the first attempt. Disappointed, I immediately resolved to resit as soon as possible as I was otherwise well prepared.Here came the worst of Andy. He said he was too busy for me to resit at that time; I thought that was just a temporary issue, but I asked two more times in the following months and he made excuses each time.This situation caused me so much wasted time and upset. I wanted my license to help my sick father who has since passed.I have never experienced anything like this and if I can save anybody else the distress Andy has caused, I feel I have to post about my experience.I could not believe the total lack of professionalism and would warn any student against spending money on this man as he will take it and may decide not to deliver on the contract.I do now finally have my license; but, not soon enough to help my Dad when he needed it and it cost me a further £600 as new instructors do not like to take on test takers only.Make sure you choose an instructor that will take payment on the record and commit in writing to providing lesson if you fail your test. Andy is not the one.

Highly recommend Andy, passed first time with only 5 minors. He is patient but effective with his teachings!

Ignore any negative comments! Andy is by far the best instructor in town. He passed me first time with only 3 minor faults and is currently teaching my 60 year old Mum to drive who is well on her way to passing with 1st Class driving. Keep up the good work and thanks again.
