Had a brilliant holiday! All the staff were extremely helpful and the boat was the best we've ever had. Everything worked perfectly, and was clean and very well maintained. 4 days as a complete beginner and it was amazing. Our grandchildren aged 18 and twins 8yrs thought it was amazing and would have stayed a lot longerThe boat was very clean and comfortable and shire staff provided expert instruction at the starting pointWe had everything we needed and a very complete manual if we wanted information about the boat we would highly recommend

Absolutely loved it!! Got shown how to steer the boat, work the locks (which I loved) everything you need is on the boat, didn't want to come home, thanks for a fantastic holiday!!! We will definitely be back!

Just back in The Netherlands after an amazing week spent on the Rochdale Canal, out of Sowerby Bridge, up to Walsden and back to Sowerby. Nights stopped in Mytholmroyd, Todmorden, Hebden Bridge and a couple between. First time taking charge of a narrowboat, and this past week really has opened a veritable Pandora's Box going forward. Utterly beautiful countryside, wonderful people, a charming boat that genuinely became home for a week, and a team back at base that were straight, no nonsense, and couldn't help enough. We will return without doubt, and cannot recommend Shire Cruisers anyway near enough. Thank you!

Completed 3 trips with shire cruisers over the years and loved everyone of them. Very friendly staff with clear and concise intrusions of how to run and operate the boat. A member of the team will a company you through the first few locks to get you on the way and then you are left to fend for your self but with plenty of ways to contact the team in the event of an emergency or whatever you may need.Easy to locate with parking provided, boats spacious, well equipped and a pleasure to live in over your holiday period.Well recommended as always. Will definitely be back once again next year.
