Greyfriars Carpets

Greyfriars carpets advised us on the purchase of a new carpet for our living room. The salesman was not pushy and allowed us plenty of time and space to look through the wide selection of stock available on site.When we had looked around we asked what would be affordable for the money we would like to spend and were not pushed or upsold. We found a nice hard-wearing plush carpet in a colour that we liked.The underlay the fitters used enhanced the carpet even more and make for a lovely spongy welcoming feel underfoot we returning home from work.Will definitely use again.

If only I could leave no stars. So I needed a stair carpet for a flight of stairs and was told I would need 16 meters of carpet, I protested this seemed a bit much but a second member of staff insisted that yes, I would definitely need 16 meters, which I paid for, despite my reservations. The staff did not send anyone to measure up and did not listen to my reservations. So next day my partner went in with our own measurements and indeed they had oversold us carpet by 4 meters. They said they would give a refund, but only offered refund for 2 meters. I wrote an email requesting a full refund, I felt like they had coerced me into buying too much carpet and then tried to cheat me out of half of my refund, and no longer wanted to do business with them, (of course, it could have been that their maths was just bad). The next day I went to get my refund and was told they would not speak to me or have anything to do with me as my claims were being investigated at head office level. After a few more emails they let myself and my partner know that their investigation had concluded and indeed I was guilty of giving false information, slander and abuse, and whilst as a gesture of good will they would refund my money in full, we are both henceforth banned for life from entering Greyfriars Carpets. With the exception of the ban for life, which has caused us a little amusement, this was a wholly distressing experience. but at least one day we will be able to look back and laugh.

Poor service, poor fitting service. Paid a lot of money for a quality bedroom carpet. Once the fitter had gone there were lots of wet glue marks all over it. On calling to complain we were referred to the fitter who never came back to us. Eventually someone came out and removed most of the glue with solvent which then left an awful smell in the room. Despite complaining no-one has taken responsibility or even been willing to do any more to appease us than that. We have whole house to carpet and the website makes them out to be professional and committed to quality & service. We will go elsewhere for the rest of the house.

Fantastic company. We got the carpet we wanted in budget. We screwed up and hadn't measured quite right. They turned up to fit carpet but it was too small. Despite it being our error they remeasured and supplied the right size at no extra cost. Les than 7 days between buying and fitting and fitters worked quickly and efficiently and to the highest standard.Our room is transformed, staff are incredibly helpful, prices are fantastic and I can't recommend them highly enough. I would not shop anywhere else for carpet or flooring. Thank you Greyfriars Carpets.

Owner/ Staff didn't seem to bothered that we had visited the showroom to look at and buy some carpets. Brilliant range of carpets but didn't buy due to having to hunt someone down to sell anything to us.

Took a Friend she was very happy with the price and quality of carpets she will definitely be going ahead with carpets

Your drivers are a great ad for your business. Tailgating me on Tixall Road when I'm doing the speed limit. Either keep a proper distance or grow a pair and overtake if you're in that much of a rush. It's not rocket science. At least they had enough brain cells to realise I was letting them go past when I put the hazards on and stopped. My wife and baby son are also grateful.
