Great experience at Lloyd Land Rover. My car was taken there after developing a fault whilst we were visiting Yorkshire. The dealership was able to take my car and schedule it into the workshop. Joanne kept us informed of any progress and worked with Land Rover Roadside Assist to deliver our car home. The car was immaculate and had been treated with respect by the technicians. Even though we didn’t visit the dealership, they’ll certainly be our first choice should there be a next time. Thank you everyone.

Our Defender went into limp mode 3 times on our journey home late on a Friday night.We contacted Land Rover Assist via the Land Rover app and booked for an AA man to attend our home at 9am the next day - he turned up on time and was very pleasant and went above and beyond phoning around other technicians to see if they had the part on their vans, as we had a Pink concert to go to in Sunderland that afternoon and we were picking friends up from Durham on the way!Nobody had the part, so the AA man contacted Lloyds Land Rover in York to see if they had a courtesy car available but at the time they didn’t, so he rang Land Rover Assist who said they will contact hire car companies to hire us a car.Land Rover Assist rang us back an hour later to say they couldn’t hire us a like-for-like vehicle but they’d just seen on the system that a courtesy car had arrived back at Lloyd’s and they’d booked it out for us.Mad dash over to York in limp mode (sloooow journey) and we were met by a lovely chatty chap in the drive-thru who booked us in and then we met the Service Manager (Joanne) who was very apologetic that our Defender had let us down and at the worse time too (we’d just put a full tank of diesel in and had it cleaned ready for our weekend away).We were sent off in a suitable courtesy car and managed to collect our friends, get to the surprise 30th birthday meal and the Pink concert in Sunderland!The Service Manager rang us on Tuesday as promised and we collected on Wednesday.I spent 30mins chatting, drinking coffee, going through all the testing that was carried out, which part was replaced and was even given a bag full of merchandise as a gesture of goodwill for all the extra stress added to our weekend.From start to finish, the service we received from all the members of staff from Land Rover that we dealt with was outstanding and we know we wouldn’t have received this level of care from other brands (from previous experience).

If I could give 10 stars I would! I cannot thank you enough for helping us when we broke down in York on the way to the ferry in Portsmouth. You all went over and above to get us on the road again as quickly as possibleSimply brilliant service
