Our story started in 1955 when Jack Standring opened his first shop in Ambleside, the heart of the Lake District. We’re now the UK’s largest leather retailer, still family-owned, and still based in our beautiful Lakeland home.

I visited this shop on 10 May 2017 , and was HIGHLY Impressed with the range of great Leather Jackets , and bought a Gents Light Brown one which is really classy - and lovely quality, soft leather - and a reasonable price as well ( you only get what you pay for )
