Timmy’s tyres

Got a puncture on the motorway from London toward the boat .... Went into Timmy's and was kindly welcomed by the staff and the service was instant .... Tyre off and puncture repaired and back on the car in a matter of minutes .... Very reasonable on price and very good being so close to the town and the ferryHighly recommended

That’s horrible service and awful attitude from Babette.We called there if Tim can do injector seal replacement and he said “yes, no worries, all good”, we also asked to do the full service (to replace all old belts and oils) and he also agreed. Everything was calculated and agreed. When we brought the car on Friday I wondered when it should be ready - Monday probably as there were lots of job to do. Tim said “no, no, this afternoon (Friday)”. We left the car and went home. Afternoon, evening, nothing. Saturday morning - nothing. Saturday afternoon I’m calling, Tim said that it should be done by Monday as he had some problems with getting out the injector. Ok. Monday - so Monday, hard job.Here is Monday, I’ve got text message that the car is ready to be picked up. We are happy, went to take the car, all done. We took the car and came home and left it to check by my brother as he is mechanic and he is good in it but doesn’t have tools here as we are Ukrainians. So, when he started the engine and looked under the bonnet - there was bubbling around injector, we took a video and sent it to Tim. He said “well ok, I know what the problem is, bring it back and I’ll be happy to sort it out for you”. My brother started to look other parts that should be done - and guess what - oils are old, alternator belt seamed to be new but has strange noise, filters were old and dirty.So, we brought the car second time and said that we want to see what he would do with the injector. Ok. He’s been doing it, finished, everything dirty, screwer were falling down from his hands lots of timeTim couldn’t do the problem at first time and he couldn’t do second time. The same noise and everything, they said they would give us money back as they don’t want to service it now. And few minutes later, we have been stuck on the road with smoke and fuel everywhere under bonnet.No reply at all to my text messages! And we were leaving the garage Tim didn’t want to talk, he was hiding in his small room while Bannete was rude and intolerant arguing with us that she wants us to be gone as they are not going to prove that they have done something. Unacceptable and rude and miserable and ridiculous! Never recommend it after it!

I had plenty of work done by Timmy in the past 6months. Starting from having my tyres changed, ending on small repairs.Tim is extremely reliable, polite, always answers all my questions & his services are great value for money!He is always accommodating even when he's extremely busy and one of the most honest people I've ever met in the industry.I've been a returning customer since I've stumble across his business and I'm in no rush to go anywhere else.

great service every time and reasonable price

Needed 2 tyres to replace the old perished ones on my boat trailer. It only does about 20 miles a year so part worns are fine for it. Dai and Tim sorted me out a pair and fitted them on a Saturday morning. Excellent local service and will recomend and use again
