The definition of a scam. High pressure sales tactics but once you sign the contract you get the worst customer service you'll every experience. We had all our windows replaced with them and a series of issues kept arising. First, turns out that several window designs that we had discussed with the salesman can't actually be build. Because of this the surveyor had to come several times. When the fitters come, they were very rude and unprofessional. They tell us the fitting will take one day, but takes two. And then they find out that one of the windows was the wrong size, so they have to send a surveyor again and manufacture it again. All this resulted in delays that made it take almost 2 months since we signed the contract until the windows were fitted. All this while my wife was heavily pregnant and about to give birth. Despite them ensuring us that things will be sorted on time before the baby is due, the series of mistakes made it go beyond that time and we had to have the final window installed with a newborn baby at home, with all the noise and toxic smell. Really disappointed, such a stressful situation, and the managers on the phone were not helpful and some were even rude.To top it all up. Once we thought all the problems would be over, one of the windows fails to close only a week after installation. And they are sending the next available" engineer in 5 weeks!"

Buying windows and doors from Safestyle has single handedly been the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. When it comes to arranging a visit and a quote, you can't fault them. Straight round, pick the windows and doors you want and then wait for them to install. This was where the start of what has been a miserable three months begins...Because of Covid, they sent out fitters who didn't know how to fit windows, or remove windows, or remove doors - so they used crowbars and claw hammers to remove a wooden door frame and smashed up all the plaster around it which they then filled in with silicon and told me it would be alright if I painted it.They hid their craftsmanship behind thick PVC surrounds which look ridiculous. Where the frame didn't meet the skirting board, they just left it and filled the hole in with clear silicon. On the outside, they smeared two long brown stains of silicon where they joined the door to the brick and told me this was a signature look.On the inside, they drilled through my living room wall pushing two bricks out and blowing the plaster to squeeze the door frame into place. In the kitchen, they cut round the blind bracket and then filled it in with silicon. I can't remove the blind bracket. They also fitted the window at an 8 degree tilt, meaning it doesn't close properly. They also managed to damage a granite worktop in the kitchen, suspected from all of the fine cutting they did rather than just come and get me and tell me the new frame was bigger than the old one and could we move the blind. And the mess they left was outrageous. Silicon EVERYWHERE, dirty doors and windows and a door that doesn't sit in the frame, has the wrong handle and has to be tightened every other week as the handle wobbles. You'd think they'd be keen to get this mess sorted out, after all, they're the number one glazing windows and doors firm or some marketing buzz words.Well I'm twenty calls in now and each call is the same.I'm even friends now with some of the post-install care team we've spoken that much. When this eventually gets sorted out, I think I'll miss out daily chats where we just repeat the same things we said previously, like a PVC version of the film Groundhog Day.So if you want to run the risk that they'll send out barely trained fitters to fit a product in your house, that they might drill into your wall right behind the sofa, that they'll ruin a worktop that had been down 3 days or that they'll do absolutely nothing about it afterwards, give them a go.I reckon the damage they caused in just over four hours was about £4000 - more than double what the doors and windows cost. From my perspective, I just wish I had chosen someone else. They're not following their own complaints charter so please, please be careful before you commit, there is every chance you won't have a problem and everything will be fine, but I'm in PVC purgatory and there doesn't seem to be a way out.I'll keep this review updated with my progress as I pursue this issue with them.

I was informed that replacement sidelights would be installed to my door and booked in for an installer to attend, however nobody arrived. The previous panels were spray painted to match the door as a temporary measure. I was called by the head office the same day to see if I was happy but have received no response despite advising that nobody had been in contact and been advised that they would jump straight on it". I tried calling through but was left on hold for a considerable amount of time. I emailed the installation manager 3 times without reply. I emailed the complaint log on the web site with details of the issues and have received no response. I called the office number and kept getting through to a booking in team; they advised that they would put me through to the customer service team; each time I am on hold for a considerable amount of time. I advised that it is not convenient to wait for such periods but the operative still passed me through without being able to speak to an operative. The standard of workmanship is good

Excellent service from start to finish. Sales person was very informative and the surveyor spent a good amount of time with us to ensure the dimensions were accurate. Both fitters arrived promptly and fitted the door within a couple of hours. They were efficient, friendly and made sure everything was clean and tidy before leaving. In addition to this they made sure I was happy with using the door and the after sales team have also been very attentive. Thank you Safestyle!! We've now ordered our back door with you.

Really pleased with my installation, had all of the windows and doors installed. Surprised haw fast it was from ordering to fitting. Was impressed by the care that was taken to ensure that all of our choices were fulfilled. Great team of fitters who worked hard to install the doors and windows. House now looks great, many thanks.

Safestyle UK are quick to contact you for a deposit. They are always calling you and nagging you to make a decision and they are sharp and on the ball for chasing payments. However when it comes to aftercare they are very difficult if not impossible to get hold of. When you do get a hold of them, they are never willing to make the effort in giving you a call back which is what they say they will do.I have called 10 times, if not more about the quality of my doors and windows, including a pane of glass which is the wrong style. However I said that if the pane of glass was fitted then I would drop the other problems and not take them further. This agreement was authorised by the manager of the fitters who came to fit the windows. Ever since, I have not heard a thing about changing the pane of glass that was incorrect. In the meantime, I have had problems with my two outside doors which were not fitted correctly and I have also noticed that some of the rubber (which was grey to match the colour of the windows) is now peeling off and becoming white. Not good quality clearly! They have promised me numerous call backs about this issue and I have heard nothing. Nothing is sorted and I am not a happy customer. Whens problems seem to arise they do not care.As I said, when it suits them they are happy to go like the clappers… but when its the customer who wants something back in return, they choose to take as long as they like.Appalling customer care.

When my disabled partner left hospital I contacted safestyle to replace my front door for a wheelchair accessable door. The sales team came round within an hour of phoning them and gave me a quote for replacing the door. The salesman explained that the type of door I need is a low threshold and explained that the quote he gave me could only be held for that day and he was giving me the best deal he could. Being vulnerable after the ordeal my partner had gone through and feeling under pressure to sign to get this deal I agreed. They sent a surveyor round to check the hight of door handle and letter box or so I was told, I left my partner to deal with this feeling confident that safestyle was a reputable company. The surveyor decided to change the low threshold which I'm now told is not appropriate and should have been a strip to a standard threshold and then had my partner who is 3/4 blind to sign for it. When I phoned to complain about it I found it impossible to speak to anyone in a position of responsibility and further more was told that they had done nothing wrong and it was all my partners fault for signing. As a result of using safestyle I overpaid for a door that has now left my partner unable to get out of the house unaided which has obvious safty implications. I wish I had never heard of this company and certainly will never use them again.

Terrible service and aftercare. Had a doors fitted front and back not installed properly and was letting draft through. First notice in November 2020 kept saying they will order new thresholds and keep cancelling my appointment as fitter says that they haven't ordered it. 3 times this has happened. Will be taking further action as it taken 7 months to rectify and not getting another appointment till end of June where the same will happen again. NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR MONEY. Support a local supplier.

The salesman, surveyor and the fitters were all lovely. They were understanding of my needs and made me feel like they cared about getting the best for me. The fitters were fantastic, being knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating - they kindly changed the order things were done to suit my circumstances. Even better, they cleaned up so well that my house was tidier after they left than before they came.
