Told me it would cost be £900 when he took my car in and now is demanding £3000. He told me had to do other things at the time the car was ready. But not once during the process. I'm going to take legal action.

Great job every time

Had my Scirocco 1.4TSI engine rebuilt after a piston cracked. Chris did a great job of replacing all four original Mahle pistons with the newer Kolberschmidts.. The whole job was completed in around 7 days (had to wait a few days to get on the ramp). Very competitive price and great communications throughout. They specialise in a few engines including the 1.4TSI and their experience shows.

Lenart motors, where do I even start.To begin great communication, free recovery and what seemed to be a great job well done. We spent 2k for what you would think is an “engine rebuild”.After rcving the vehicle we found that there was still a fuel and oil leak. Which was coming from the engine. Even if the problem wasn’t down to the engine which is what they specialize in you would think after spending 2k with lenart motors they would inform you of any further problems or pointers on what we should get checked. Regardless I still definitely think it was related to the engine.Upon trying to contact Lenart to inform them their tone had changed. It was very hard to communicate with Chris he was not accommodating to the the fact that there was still a problem after we expected everything to be fixed. On top of that he expected us to drop the car off with no help and couldn’t even forward us details of the recovery service they usually use. Aside from this he did not ask for any details I.e images, warning lights, details of the sound of engine etc.Extremely unprofessional given the circumstances and would not recommend. If the work done does not fix the problems or creates more problems, they are a complete waste of time and money.This was my experience with Lenart motors back in 2021 sharing now as they have blocked me on Facebook after I reviewed them on Facebook.
