Good place to park, not that busy. Easier to get around sea front

All I can say is that it's cold. If you feel like wanting a little breeze, I still wouldn't go here because it is absolutely freezing in South Shields. Overall, it was pretty good so I have rated three stars as my opinion. I would say It's okay and that's my final decision.

Competitively priced Council ran car park with direct beach access, free toilets, litter bins, disabled spaces and the ability to pay by phone as well. At one end of the car park you also have Minchella's Ices and Grill cafe where you can buy food and drink to sit in or take away. Car park also in good location for Ocean Beach Amusement Park if you like that sort of thing. It was snow covered during our last visit.

Great position for Car Park next to Beach

Good location overlooking the Tyne entrance to sea. Small but pleasant beach. Free toilets in car park. Minchella's are at the southern end selling drinks, ice creams and burgers. South Shields beach and Marine Park are only a ten minute walk away.
