Greenhill Pharmacy

I visited this place yesterday to collect a prescription for pain relief and dressings following a road accident. Both my arms are bandaged up and i have limited movement. i entered the shop and approached the desk where i was informed by Laura that i should be wearing a face mask. i explained that this was impossible and was then told to leave the premises and wait outside. Laura was very rude and obnoxious. While outside i was approached by the pharmacist who pointed out a sign saying customers should wear a mask. i explained to the pharmacist that I had been spoken to like a dog being told to wait outside, however she was simply not interested. overall this is a dreadful business with no concern for their customers and I certainly wont be visiting again.

I’ve been using this chemist , for 30 years , the Staff are friendly, and go above and beyond to help you, two special mentions for Laura who believe is now a Dispenser , always finds time to say hello, and Tina at the counter and her friend with the Blonde hair sorry don’t know her name, the Pharmacists are very good and always find time if you need a chat or advice , but overal 5* and I’m sure Andrew Green knows he has some excellent staff here who are very hard working , and like little ants at Times , they never stop especially at these very busy times we are In .

One of the members of Staff here are very rude and unhelpful my Mother was treated and spoken to in a manner that made her very upset and unwilling to visit the pharmacy alone again. I think the Young ladies name was Laura, we are dissapointed with the service recieved

The service in this chemist is diabolical some of the staff (not all) have a very unprofessional can’t be bothered attitude - this should be my local go to chemist after decades of living in the area but no more I would rather travel further out & go somewhere else that actually care & appreciate your custom unlike this place. Also how they talk to some of the older generation is not acceptable and iv heard them talking about customers when they leave the shop!

This pharmacy is guilty of disability discrimination by the notice in their window stating that face masks must be worn even by those who are exempt! Obviously they don’t understand the meaning of “exemption” and don’t care at all about those people who have a hidden disability. Quite how they are managing to get away with this is beyond me. Their reason about the pharmacy being a medical establishment is invalid because even hospitals and GP surgeries are aware that not everyone is able to wear a mask. Shame on you, Greenhill Pharmacy!

It's an embarrassment, please go somewhere else if you can, anywhere else has to be better.The staff are disorganized, incompetent, rude, and unhelpful. If only there was some regular inspection of pharmacies, then it would fail and be shut down. Do they not have any training.Low lights are:1) Declaring they are too busy to serve, even when you have queued for 45 minutes. So come back in 2hrs or tomorrow.2) Loudly announcing your name, ailment and prescription to all and sundry. It's like they never heard of patient confidentiality.3) The stupid baskets.4) It's unlikely they will have your prescription in stock, and they have to order in. So that's two trips round the 45 minute queue.5) The signage, you shouldn't have to demand people be pleasent, generally if you treat people with respect you get it back.Here ends my rant.

Recently went in to pick up a prescription. Another customer was refusing to wear a mask and was challenged by Laura on this in a very polite and respectful manner. The customer was incredibly rude in response which resulted in the customer being asked to wait outside. Laura was professional at all times. Staff who are providing a fantastic service should not have to accept abuse and let it go unchallenged. The staff at Greenhill do an amazing job!

Staff are rude and unhelpful, I had the misfortune of having to visit this pharmacy and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Attended this evening for urgent prescription, 1 part of prescription was not available, the staff were unhelpful and disinterested.Fortunately I'm a midwife so was able to ask pertinent questions to find out how I was going to get my treatment, I was advised to go back to my GP, it was 17.30 by now.Fortunately I had my car.At the surgery the receptionist informed me the pharmacist should have phoned GP not sent me up.It was too late to now get my prescription I will have to wait til tomorrow in discomfort and pain. I have made excuses for this chemist(which used to be so good) disorganised and unhelpful system, but not anymore.I will no longer use this chemist. However not everyone has opportunity to go elsewhere.

They went above & beyond to get hold of the blood thinners my daughter desperately needed.
