Bruton Veterinary Practice

We have both of our dogs registered with the practice, and have always been extremely happy with the treatment they have received. When our Labrador had a serious ligament problem, they did not rush straight into expensive invasive treatment, but recommended that we try a more conservative approach first. Sadly that didn't work, and he did go on to major surgery. Yes it was expensive, but it was done by a specialist, and the care throughout was fantastic, I was able to call for advice at any time during his long recovery. I find all the staff friendly and approachable, and have recommended the practice to several people.

I think our two dogs and a cat receive(d) very thorough and professional care from Bruton Vets. They take time to explain all the options and are non-judgemental about my unwillingness to pay for some of the ‘optional’ add ins and/or my decision to postpone some procedures. They were particularly sensitive around the end of life decision for our cat.

I am very fussy about my dogs care (he's my baby!!). Anyway, Charlotte and all at Bruton vets couldn't be kinder, more caring and helpful! Sadly I lost my little dog (the father of my current boy) last year during lockdown and they couldn't have been kinder, more professional and compassionate. I thoroughly recommend this practice!

We used to be with you and still see your vet if ours (in Trudoxhill) is closed due to short staff/out-of-hours and we are always very pleased with the standard of care, the willingness to go the extra mile, and, especially, the very clear and detailed explanations around differential diagnosis and management - it's so important to make sure people go away fully understanding situations and you are very strong on that, much appreciated. My cat broke one of her legs and from the time I rushed her to the vet she was given 5 star care. She had to stay at the vets for 4 nights before she had an operation. I was able to get a sometimes twice daily report on her progress and it was clear that she was given personal service. I was even asked what food she most liked! She is recovering really well and I am pleased we have such a good local vet in Bruton.

Great customer service, staff very pleasant but professional and supportive. Prices are competitive for this region. Pet scheme is good. My dog was quite settled when she attended.

Lovely people! Kept our cat alive and well (despite his best efforts to use up all of his 9 lives.) for over 10 years!!

Really happy with the service from Bruton vets, they are so good at fitting you in for convenient appointments, really cheerful on the phone, have performed surgery on one of my dogs and the follow up care was fantastic. My two girls love Rosy and everyone makes such a fuss of them when they go in they love a trip to the vets!
