Good points...Staff very nice and friendly, clean bedding & towels. Bed was comfortable.Bad points..... floorboards seem very unsafe at the bottom of the bed. Thought I was going to fall through.Walls missing paint all around the room.Emergency light taped up.Shower loads of black mould, shower door dirty hence we didn't shower.Lovely bathroom floor but shame about the base of the shower falling apart.Hot tap made such a noise must have woken the whole pub. Didn't turn off properly.Wardrobe was damp.To top it all we had one China cup and one Tin mug.We did have a good night's sleep once the Kareoke had finished near on midnight.

Top place, the manager, her daughter the punters are amazing.Cracking village pub with great entertainment to. A great to place to enjoy yourself.Can't speak highly enough of the staff, punters and venue. Have never know any local or non local give anything but top things to say.Top, top top place

The good stuff: Friendly staff, clean bed linen and towels, comfortable bed, free parking across the road, cheap.The not so good stuff: Very cheap. The whole place is very tired, not been updated in decades, makeshift repairs, clogged shower, dirty carpet, squeaky floor boards (someone nextdoor walking made noise in my room), two broken TVs, tired and tatty furniture.For those reasons I do not recommend it.

Bertie,s is ok . Pub is lively and a bit loud at times .Staff are friendly and helpful. Accommodation is basic but clean and tidy, bed is comfey linnin clean and fresh. Had a meal in the restaurant food was good and competitive price. Would go back. The pub car park backs on to the river Rhondda,Good view from the bridge

Spacious rooms, good location, free parking, friendly staff. In need of much TLC inside. And soap or gel in the bathrooms

Honestly the best place I’ve ever stayed! Had to leave my property due to carbon monoxide, the most friendliest welcome and very interactive with my pups, the owner is just special! Definitely makes the stay away from home so much easier! Cannot thank the staff and owner any more than if I could could!! My heart honestly is so full! I can’t appreciate what they have done for us and the pups any more!! I have recommended this place to all family and friends and I will definitely recommend to many more people❤️ Thankyou all for how welcome you have made us feel!!❤️

Simple accommodation with warm open people who sought conversation as soon as I arrived and were very interested in my trip. Nice pub with very tasty freshly tapped beer and a good meal. So I liked it very much. Open, warm, uncomplicated. Thank you for that!

Me and my wife stayed here for more than a week upon our arrival in Wales. Lovely little place, easy to find on map. Bus stop and rail station is nearby. The lady who runs the property and her daughter is very helpful. Peaceful and no disturbs at all. Highly Recommended ❤️

A group of us came this evening with 2 babies , we was given a great table suitable for our needs.Food was delicious great price and a great portion:Even though they were under staffed both Jess and Tracey still took the time to come over and make sure we was all good and make sure our needs where met!Highly recommend and we cannot wait to return for our Christmas do!
