Wylde Green URC Church

We go here for a class and the hall is a nice size. It is quite cold though, unless the radiators are turned on.We've never attended a church service, as we're not religious, so I can't comment about that.

Lovely little church, I like the new vicar! Also I love Open Table, which is the 3rd Sunday of the month. This is focussed around LGBT+ people, their friends & allies.

A great community space

My grand parents go here every weekend . They love it there. Hey are very kind and friendly. They let you use the grand piano for practice! I used it today and they helped get to now it better. Thanks.

Good facilities

I regularly visit the small meeting room for rehearsal with Peoples Show Choir,We are able to make drinks in the small kitchen off the meeting room, which is a bonus.

Friendly church, great events and now has a green group. Something for every age.

Not very good signing on what hall is for what group a bit confusing if you haven't been there before. There are many clubs that runs from this church at the same time

I am Organist and Chair of the General Purposes/Management Committee at a URC in the Northwest but stayed in Sutton Coldfield for a few months earlier in the year.During that time I attended Wylde Green URC for six weeks prior to lockdown.....what lovely people....so welcoming and a happy fellowship.However, during that time I came face to face with the Minister on at least two occasions and he didn't even acknowledge me let alone say 'Hello'!As an organist I got to know Steven the church organist and indeed came in to church with him a couple of times mid-week to play the organ.On one of those occasions the Minister came into the church and stood two metres away from me talking to Steven....and still ignored me!Very disappointing behaviour from someone in his position and I would be reluctant to attend again purely on the basis of his perceived rudeness.

We run a Memory Cafe here on a Monday Great facilities and caretaker can't do enough for us
